Caliper render for this kit:

The Evo X leans on its rear axle harder than almost any road-going saloon. S-AWC and its Active Yaw Control work the rear brakes constantly to rotate the CZ4A through a corner, so the rear discs on a 2008-2016 Mitsubishi Evo10 are doing far more than scrubbing speed at the end of a straight. This XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit is for owners who have found the factory rears running out of thermal headroom on a circuit or a committed B-road.
Fit this single rear-axle kit, a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, and you hand the yaw-control system a cooler, more consistent surface to act on. The car keeps rotating predictably deep into a session instead of turning nose-led as the standard rears heat-soak and the pedal goes long.
What this big brake kit does for your 2008-2016 Mitsubishi EVO10
Pad choice is where this kit earns its keep. The Street compound stays quiet and progressive for daily driving, the Sport compound adds bite and fade resistance for fast-road work, and the Racing compound holds its initial bite through repeated heavy stops on track. Because the Evo X modulates the rear so often through its stability and yaw systems, a rear setup that resists fade keeps those interventions feeling sharp rather than wooden. You also get a firmer pedal under trail-braking into slow corners, exactly where the standard rears tend to soften. Caliper colour is specified to taste from the included no-cost set, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with custom and premium finishes available.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow name points to the lightweight hollow-vane disc design, trimming rotating and unsprung mass from the rear axle, worthwhile on a car as heavy as the Evolution X. This is a rear-specific big brake kit, sized and bracketed for the CZ4A rather than adapted from a generic fitment, so the hollow-bodied caliper sits correctly over the two-piece floating disc and clears the standard rear hub. Three pad compounds are offered, Street for the road, Sport for fast-road duty, and Racing for circuit use, letting you match rear bite to how the car is actually driven. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable when you order. Caliper finishes run from the included colours, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, through a Custom Color in any Pantone to premium polished-forged and candy options, so the hardware reads as intended through an open-spoke wheel.
Fitment for the Mitsubishi EVO10 (2008-2016)
This kit is cut for the rear axle of the Mitsubishi Evo10, the CZ4A-generation Lancer Evolution X, across the full 2008 to 2016 production run. It is a rear-only fitment designed around that chassis, so no front components are included. Pad compound and caliper colour are chosen from the options above per order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
