Caliper render for this kit:

The Dodge Magnum (NON SRT-8) left the factory with rear brakes sized for a family estate, not for the near-two-tonne LX-platform mass they actually have to stop. This XYZ Racing Hollow rear brake kit for the 2005-2008 Dodge Magnum addresses that directly, swapping the modest standard rear setup for a vented, two-piece floating disc and a fixed caliper that holds its bite when the back axle is doing real work.
On a 5.7 HEMI wagon driven hard, or one regularly loaded and towing, the rear end is where heat builds with no warning. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and discs, this kit gives the Magnum a rear brake package matched to its weight and to its rearward load shift under braking, so the pedal stays firm instead of going long after a few committed stops.
What this brake kit does for your 2005-2008 Dodge Magnum
The biggest gain is heat management. The hollow-vane disc design sheds mass and helps the rotor run cooler, which keeps pad friction stable through repeated heavy stops rather than fading as the standard discs glaze. You feel it as a pedal that stays consistent and a rear axle that settles the car under braking instead of squirming. Pad compound is your call: Street for a quiet daily Magnum, Sport for a sharper road bite, or the Racing compound if the car sees track or sustained high-speed work. The result is shorter, more repeatable stops and a back end you can lean on when you brake deep into a corner or haul the loaded wagon down from motorway speed.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The kit is built around a two-piece floating rear disc paired with a bolt-on fixed caliper, designed to upgrade braking on the rear axle without re-engineering the rest of the car. The hollow-vane rotor cuts rotating mass while increasing the surface area working to dump heat, which is what separates it from a plain solid replacement disc, and the discs are offered drilled or slotted at the same price with braided lines fitted. The caliper is hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty) for owners running the car hardest on circuit. Three pad compounds cover the spread from road manners to track abuse, Street for daily driving, Sport for fast-road work, and Racing for sustained heat, so the same hardware suits a daily-driven Magnum or one built for harder use. Painted calipers come in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium, so the kit reads as intended through the wheel rather than as a generic replacement part. Everything is specified to suit the non-SRT-8 Magnum’s rear corner.
Fitment for the Dodge Magnum (2005-2008)
This kit is built for the rear axle of the Dodge Magnum (NON SRT-8) across the 2005 to 2008 model years. It is the non-SRT-8 specification, since the SRT-8 ran its own larger brake hardware, so confirm your car is a standard V6 or HEMI Magnum, not the SRT-8, before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
