Caliper render for this kit:

The G87 M2 carries more kerb weight than any M2 before it, and on a circuit that mass has to be hauled down at both ends. The XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the Bmw 2 Series G 87 M2 Coupe addresses the rear axle’s share of that work, the stability you feel as the car settles under heavy deceleration into a slow corner. The factory M Compound setup copes on the road, but repeated stops from three-figure speeds are where a dedicated rear kit earns its keep.
This is the rear-position kit, built to work with the front to set brake balance rather than fight it. The two-piece floating disc trims rotating mass at the rear corners, which matters on a short-wheelbase rear-drive coupe that already shifts its weight around under trail braking. Match the pad compound to how you actually drive: Street for the road, Sport for fast-road and the odd track day, Racing for sustained circuit use.
What this rear brake kit does for your 2023-2026 Bmw 2 Series G 87 M2 Coupe
After fitting, the first thing you notice is a firmer, more consistent pedal as the rear discs shed heat instead of soaking it. The S58’s torque loads the rear axle hard on corner entry, and a rear setup that resists fade keeps the car’s balance predictable through a full session rather than letting the bias wander as the brakes get hot. On a car this heavy, thermal capacity at the back is exactly what stops that happening. The Racing compound bites harder for circuit work, the Sport compound handles fast-road and mixed use, and the Street pad stays quiet and civil on the commute. Caliper colour is yours to set, from Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black to a custom Pantone finish behind the wheels.
About the Rear Brake Kit
The kit is supplied as a matched pair of left and right rear calipers and discs. The two-piece floating disc uses a hollow-vane design where material is removed to cut weight without giving up the swept area a heavy coupe demands; it comes drilled or slotted at the same price, on braided lines. Less rotating mass at each rear corner sharpens how quickly the axle responds and eases the load on the surrounding suspension. The forged caliper is hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, 1000C rated, two-year warranty) for the hardest track use. The kit pairs the discs with the caliper and a choice of three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware covers a road car, a fast-road build or a full track weapon. Included painted caliper finishes are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) and candy (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange) finishes, and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium at checkout. It is a rear-axle kit, designed to complement a matching front setup and hold a stable brake balance rather than overpower the nose.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
