Caliper render for this kit:

The RAV4 (XA50) carries close to two tonnes, most of it slung over the front axle on Toyota’s TNGA-K platform, and the factory front discs were sized for school runs rather than for scrubbing that mass off from motorway speeds repeatedly. The XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit answers the one weakness owners of this generation actually feel: front-axle heat soak on long descents, when loaded, or after a few hard stops in quick succession.
This is a front-axle big brake upgrade, a matched pair of larger two-piece floating discs and fixed calipers with a choice of pad compounds, so a heavy hybrid crossover stops with more bite and far more consistency than the single-piston sliding setup it replaces.
What this brake kit does for your 2019-2025 Toyota RAV4 (XA50)
After fitting, the first thing you notice is a firmer, shorter pedal that does not go long when the discs are hot. The hollow disc construction trims unsprung weight at each front corner, which sharpens turn-in and lets the dampers work over broken surfaces. Pad compound is your call: the Street compound suits quiet, low-dust everyday RAV4 use, the Sport compound adds bite and heat range for spirited road driving and towing, and the Racing compound is there for owners who load the front axle hard on track and want it to keep taking the punishment. Across all three, the bigger swept area gives the front brakes the thermal headroom the standard XA50 setup simply runs out of.
About the Hollow front brake kit
The kit takes its name from its hollow-body caliper and two-piece floating disc, where the rotor is built to shed mass and move more air through the vane structure, keeping working temperatures down where a solid OEM-style disc would already be fading. A rigid fixed caliper clamps the larger rotor evenly, so pad wear stays flatter and pedal feel stays repeatable when the brakes are worked. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you match the kit to how the car is actually used, from family duty to track-day front-axle abuse. Painted caliper finish is included at no cost in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black; a Custom Color in any Pantone is £150, and premium finishes run to polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver plus candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. Centre bells can be upgraded to two-tone anodizing in five colours or titanium, and the Hollow Racing caliper option, rated to 1000C with a two-year warranty, suits sustained circuit use.
Fitment for the Toyota RAV4 (XA50) (2019-2025)
This kit is built for the front axle of the XA50-generation Toyota RAV4 across the 2019 to 2025 model years and is supplied as a left-and-right pair. It is a front-position big brake kit; confirm your exact build year against the XA50 range before ordering, and pair it with a wheel that clears the larger caliper.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
