XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Toyota CORONA 1993-1997

The T190 Corona was built to waft, not to attack – a soft, comfort-led front-wheel-drive saloon that leans on its outside front tyre and washes wide the moment you ask it to change direction with intent. The XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover rewrites that brief, swapping the original long-travel, low-rate setup for a height-adjustable platform built around sustained circuit lap-time work.

This is the firmest, most track-focused option XYZ Racing offers for the Corona, and it treats the old saloon as a serious project rather than a curiosity. Drop the ride height, control the roll, and the TO30 chassis finally turns on its nose instead of pushing through it.

What this coilover does for your 1993-1997 Toyota Corona

Fit the Circuit Master and the first thing you feel is body control. The original Corona dampers were tuned for ride isolation, so on turn-in the car rolls, the front loads up late, and grip arrives a beat after you want it. A stiffer, height-adjustable platform cuts that delay: weight transfers faster, the front tyres bite sooner, and the nose stops running wide on the way out of slow corners. Lowering the centre of gravity tightens the saloon’s tall body, and setting ride height corner by corner lets you correct the slightly nose-heavy front-drive balance. On a circuit the payoff is a Corona that holds a long, loaded corner instead of giving up on its outside front.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition range, alongside the Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally setups, and it is the damper the company points squarely at circuit work. It has been run and developed by XYZ racing teams on international circuits across long test programmes, so the valving is aimed at heat build-up and repeat laps rather than a single hot lap. Adjustment is the headline: three separate knobs combine to give 9720 distinct damping settings, a span wide enough to suit very different drivers and track surfaces. That three-knob layout uses a small oil-passage design, and XYZ are upfront that over big bumps the oil moving through those narrow passages can produce a faint noise – normal behaviour, and a non-issue on the smooth surfaces this coilover is built to attack. It is a circuit tool first, sold as such, and engineered for the demands of competition rather than gentle road manners.

Fitment for the Toyota Corona (1993-1997)

This kit is mapped to the TO30-generation Toyota Corona built from 1993 to 1997. It is a direct-fit coilover for that chassis and year span – confirm your exact model and engine against the configurator before ordering, since the Corona shared its platform with several Toyota saloons of the period.
