XYZ Racing Street Advanced Coilovers — Porsche 992 CARRERA-2/S CABRIOLET (without hydraulic lift system) 2019-2026

The XYZ Racing Street Advanced coilover for the Porsche 992 Carrera-2/S Cabriolet addresses a physical reality the standard PASM setup manages electronically but doesn’t resolve mechanically: the folding fabric roof, its attendant frame reinforcement, and the additional chassis bracing required for open-top torsional rigidity push the Cabriolet’s kerb weight noticeably above its Coupé counterpart. On a rear-engined platform where weight distribution, ride height, and spring rate interact constantly – especially under trail braking and mid-corner load – that difference is felt. The Street Advanced puts 720-way damping adjustment in the driver’s hands, allowing the car to be configured for the motorway, the fast road, or the occasional track day without returning to a workshop.

This kit fits the 992 generation from 2019 onwards, specifically in configurations built without the factory Hydraulic Lift System. The PASM Lift is a convenience feature that raises the front axle over speed bumps; owners who didn’t specify it, or who run a lowered setup where the lift geometry no longer applies, will find this coilover fits without complication.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Porsche 992 Carrera-2/S Cabriolet

Bring the ride height below the 992’s factory stance – relatively tall by the standards of older 911 generations – and the car’s centre of gravity drops, tightening turn-in response and reducing the body roll the Cabriolet’s additional mass would otherwise generate through fast sweepers. The 720-way damping range provides a softer compression setting for commuter use and a firmer rebound tune when the road opens up, with meaningful variance between positions rather than marginal changes. Height adjustment also resolves the approach-angle problem for owners who didn’t fit the hydraulic lift: the front axle can be set where it needs to be, and left there.

About the Street Advanced coilover

XYZ Racing’s in-house technical team developed the Street Advanced across multiple design cycles, with the spec validated through competitive race use before it reached road-going production. Positioned between a pure track coilover and a comfort-biased road damper, it handles normal daily driving and track-day stints without needing setup changes between the two. The headline figure is 720-way damping adjustment – a range that covers meaningful compression and rebound variation across load conditions and road surfaces. Spring rates are calibrated to the 992 platform’s specific geometry and mass distribution, and the height adjustment mechanism is continuous across the standard fitment range. Porsche owners who use their cars year-round, across fast roads and occasional circuit sessions, are the intended audience for this specification.

Fitment for the Porsche 992 Carrera-2/S Cabriolet (2019-2026)

Built to chassis code PO20, this kit covers the Porsche 992 Carrera-2 and Carrera-S Cabriolet from 2019 through to 2026. It is specified for cars delivered without the factory Hydraulic Lift System option – confirm your car’s original suspension spec before ordering. The PASM Lift-equipped 992 requires a separate fitment.
