XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Lexus GS 350 4WD (S190) 2006-2011

The S190 GS 350 in 4WD form brings something genuinely useful to a gravel stage: a capable AWD drivetrain wrapped in a chassis that weighs north of 1,750 kg and was designed by Lexus to absorb motorway expansion joints in near-silence. That comfort bias is precisely the problem. Factory suspension travel, spring rates, and damping curves calibrated for luxury touring are not equipped to handle sandstone crests, silt beds, or snow-packed hairpins at competition pace.

These XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilovers exist to bridge that gap. Specific to the S190 platform and validated under rally and rallycross conditions, they replace the GS 350 4WD’s touring-spec suspension with hardware built to survive what the road stages actually throw at a car.

What this coilover does for your 2006-2011 Lexus GS 350 4WD (S190)

The inverted-tube construction keeps the damper body – the critical working component – shielded from the stone strikes and debris that define gravel-stage driving. Long-stroke design means the suspension can absorb the sharp compression of a blind crest or the sudden extension over a drainage channel without the car bottoming out or losing grip. Longer springs give the damper the travel range to manage the GS 350’s significant kerb weight over rough, broken terrain, controlling chassis vibration rather than transmitting it through the shell. Where the S190’s original suspension smooths motorway noise, this kit controls the violent G-forces a competition stage generates turn after turn.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Gravel Rally specifically for rally racing and rallycross – formats where the road surface is the most aggressive condition a car encounters in any motorsport class. The inverted tube configuration sits at the heart of that design: the damper body rides high, away from the debris field, protected from the impacts that destroy conventional struts on loose stages. Each unit pairs extended stroke with a longer spring to manage chassis movement across three distinct surface types – sandstone, snow, and silt – each of which presents different grip transitions and unpredictable loading. Spring rate settings were developed and validated by rally racing teams running actual competition events, not theoretical modelling. That process means the S190 GS 350 4WD receives a specification with race-programme lineage behind it.

Fitment for the Lexus GS 350 4WD (S190) (2006-2011)

This kit is built for the Lexus GS 350 4WD on the S190 platform, covering the 2006 to 2011 model years. Confirm your chassis code before ordering – the S190 4WD uses different suspension geometry from the rear-drive GS variants, and fitment is not interchangeable across drivetrain configurations.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
