XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Hyundai ELANTRA 2000-2006

The XJ-generation Elantra arrived as a budget saloon, but in the hands of UK club racers it became something else entirely – a light, front-drive chassis with a long-stroke MacPherson front end that responds dramatically to proper damping. The factory setup was tuned for supermarket runs, not for trail-braking into a downhill right-hander at Cadwell. Strip that compromise away and the underlying geometry is genuinely willing.

XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover is the top of the range for sustained lap-time work in this Hyundai Elantra, sitting above the Super Sport and Top Sport tiers. This is not a fast-road kit pushed beyond its remit – it is a circuit-only damper that XYZ’s own race teams have run on international tracks.

What this coilover does for your 2000-2006 Hyundai Elantra

On a 2000-2006 Elantra the immediate change is body control under sustained load. The Circuit Master uses three separate adjustment knobs offering 9720 distinct damping permutations, which means you can split low-speed compression (for kerb strikes and weight transfer) from high-speed compression (for the actual bump frequency of the surface) and rebound on its own circuit. On a chassis as light at the nose as the XJ Elantra, that separation is the difference between a car that pushes wide on power and one that rotates cleanly off the brake. Spring rates and ride height come down where the Hyundai needs them – front roll centre raised, contact patch loaded – so the front Toyo or Yokohama actually does the work the geometry asks of it. The trade-off is honest: this is a track damper, and the small-passage oil flow that gives such fine kerb-strike control will make audible noise over big road expansion joints. XYZ flags this in their own documentation; it is the cost of admission for the resolution on offer.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the competition end of the XYZ Racing range, developed alongside the kits the company sells for Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally use. It is the design XYZ teams themselves take to international circuits, and the platform has been refined over long-form testing rather than a single season. The headline figure is 9720 adjustment combinations across three independent knobs – separate low-speed and high-speed compression circuits plus rebound – which is the kind of resolution normally found only on bespoke motorsport dampers costing several times the price. Construction is built around small-passage oil control for circuit-grade compression response over kerbs and crested apex sections. The same small passages produce a small amount of valve noise when the car hits large road-going bumps; this is a known characteristic of the Circuit Master geometry and is not a fault. The kit is engineered for circuit use, not a daily commute, and is sold on that basis.

Fitment for the Hyundai Elantra (2000-2006)

This kit is built for the XJ-generation Hyundai Elantra (chassis HY06), covering the 2000 through 2006 model years across saloon and hatch variants. The mounting hardware, strut lengths and spring platforms are model-specific to this generation – this is not a universal coilover with packers. Confirm your chassis code matches HY06 before ordering.

This is the best design, on the competitive version such as Racing Spec, Drift Spec, Tarmac Rally. This is the ultimate boutique for racing in many international athletics tracks, and test for a long time. This is for purchase handling high performance and the essential partner in different racing. Circuit Master Damper is tested through XYZ racing teams all over the world. 9720 ways of different adjustments can meet all customers’ needs and win the 1st place in every race.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
