XYZ Racing Pro Rally Coilovers — Chrysler 300C 2005-2010

The LX-platform 300C is a 1,900kg rear-drive saloon with a Mercedes-derived multi-link rear, a long wheelbase, and a nose weighed down by either a 3.5 V6 or the 5.7/6.1 Hemi. None of that screams "stage car" – which is precisely why anyone running a 300C in anger on gravel or snow needs suspension built for the abuse, not a fast-road kit pushed beyond its remit. The Pro Rally coilover is the answer when the chassis itself is being prepared for competition rather than asked to play two roles at once.

This is the professional-spec variant of XYZ Racing’s rally programme – the one that assumes the body has already been modified to accept it. If you are building a 300C for top-flight rally competition, this is the kit that meets the car halfway.

What this coilover does for your 2005-2010 Chrysler 300C

On a heavy rear-drive saloon, the gains from a proper rally coilover are not subtle. You get the suspension travel and damping authority to keep the contact patch loaded over broken surfaces, where a road-biased kit would either spike through its bump stops or float between hits. The damper tuning is built around gravel and snow grip levels, which means the car settles faster between yumps and direction changes, and the rear axle stops trying to overtake the front under trail-braking into loose-surface hairpins. Ride height and corner-weight adjustment let you set the 300C up for the stage type and tyre choice you are actually running, rather than living with a one-shot factory geometry that was never intended to leave tarmac.

About the Pro Rally coilover

The Pro Rally sits in XYZ Racing’s gravel and snow programme alongside the amateur-spec variant. The split is deliberate: the amateur kit bolts to the unmodified chassis for club-level work, while this Pro Rally version is engineered to be installed after the car body has been modified to accept a competition-spec suspension. That distinction matters – it means the damper bodies, stroke, and mounting are not constrained by the factory tower geometry, so XYZ can spec the kit for the loadings and travel that rally surfaces actually demand. Construction and valving follow the rally-suspension brief: high resistance to heat fade across long stages, sealed assemblies built to live in mud, grit and meltwater, and damping calibrated for the surface-to-surface transitions that define a gravel or snow event.

Fitment for the Chrysler 300C (2005-2010)

This kit is specified for the first-generation 300C, chassis code CR01, covering model years 2005 to 2010. It covers the full LX-platform run before the second-generation facelift, which makes it the correct option for both V6 and Hemi cars built in that window.

1. Be installed directly with the original chassis. (Amateur type)
2. Be installed after modifying the car body. (Professional type)
