XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Chrysler 300C 2005-2010

The Chrysler 300C is a 1,900kg American saloon with a long wheelbase, a wide track and a rear-drive layout that was never built to hang the tail out on demand. Mass and momentum are the headline numbers, and a drift setup for this car has to do something different from a coilover written for an S-body Nissan or an E46. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec for the CR01 300C is built to take that weight, plant the front end on initiation, and keep the chassis settled once the rear is past 45 degrees.

The Drift Spec is the right pick if you are running a 300C in competitive drifting rather than fast road or circuit work. Spring rates, valving and stroke are set up around weight transfer at angle and the controlled bump cycle the rear axle sees when you load it up against the lock stop.

What this coilover does for your 2005-2010 Chrysler 300C

Initiation gets sharper because the front rebounds quickly enough to load the outside tyre when you flick the wheel, instead of the nose washing wide as the car’s mass catches up with the steering input. The rear holds a more consistent slip angle through the corner, which on a heavy LX-platform saloon is the single hardest thing to dial out with stock dampers. Ride height comes down with bump stroke retained, so you keep travel where you need it and lose the body roll that fights you mid-transition. On a 300C running staggered offset and meaningful negative camber up front, this is the bit that turns a saloon into a working drift car.

About the Drift Spec coilover

The Drift Spec is engineered specifically for drift competition rather than adapted from a circuit damper. Spring rates and damping are set to stabilise the body through high-speed entries and hold a clean angle once the rear is committed, which is where most off-the-shelf coilovers on a heavy chassis run out of authority and start porpoising. Ride height drops without losing the bump stroke that lets the suspension absorb kerb strikes and rumble strips at lock – critical when the inside-rear lifts and the outside-rear takes a hit on the way back to the apex. The geometry shift you get once it is lowered is part of the package: roll centres come up, weight transfer slows, and the front end stays loaded through the slide. It is a focused tool, not a do-everything coilover.

Fitment for the Chrysler 300C (2005-2010)

Built for the CR01-platform 300C produced from 2005 to 2010. The kit is matched to this chassis specifically – spring rates, top mount design and stroke are sized to the LX-platform’s mass and pickup points, not adapted from a generic application.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
