XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 2 SERIES G87 M2 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2023-2026

The G87 M2 left the factory with electronically adaptive dampers that work brilliantly for road and circuit duty – and fight you the moment you ask the chassis to hang sideways at a sustained angle. The S58’s 460bhp through a short wheelbase makes the G87 a serious drift weapon on paper, but the OE damping logic was never written to hold a car mid-slide. This is the kit that unlocks it.

The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover replaces that adaptive system entirely, and the bundled cancellation harness keeps the M2’s dash quiet about it. What you get back is a chassis that reads steering input the way drift cars need to read it – linear, predictable, and yours to set up.

What this coilover does for your 2023-2026 Bmw 2 SERIES G87 M2 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping)

Drop the ride height into the bump-stroke window XYZ recommends and the G87’s front end starts behaving very differently. Initial turn-in sharpens, weight transfer onto the outside front happens earlier, and the rear axle has the geometry to break cleanly rather than snap. The Drift Spec damping is tuned for sustained high-angle work, so the car settles at lock instead of pogo-ing on its outside rear corner mid-transition. Mid-corner steering corrections feel deliberate rather than reactive, which is what separates a chase car from a lead car. The cancellation kit handles the OBC side – no EDC warning light on the cluster, no limp-home behaviour, no fault codes to clear after every session.

About the Drift Spec coilover

This is a coilover developed specifically for competitive drifting rather than circuit lap times or fast-road comfort. The damping curve is engineered to stabilise the body during the high-speed entry that drift drivers use to initiate, then hold the car composed through the angle. XYZ’s brief on this series is straightforward: enhance the controllability of the slide once the car is committed, and give the driver a chassis that responds to throttle and counter-steer inputs instead of fighting them. The cancellation harness is what makes this kit usable on a G87 – the M2’s adaptive damper ECU expects to see signal from each corner, and without the bypass module the car throws faults the moment you unplug the OE struts. Lowered ride height, drift-tuned valving, and proper bump-stroke geometry are the three things this kit changes about your M2; everything else flows from those.

Fitment for the Bmw 2 SERIES G87 M2 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2023-2026)

This kit is built for the G87 M2 chassis (XYZ part code BM128-C) covering the 2023-2026 model years. The cancellation module is included as part of this specific SKU – it is required hardware for any G87 running the factory electronic damping system and is not interchangeable with non-EDC G-series coilover kits.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
