That extra travel also has to cope with the extreme lateral G-force generated when a rally car is thrown into a corner on loose surface, which is a very different load case to grip-limited tarmac cornering. Every spring rate offered in this range has been set using data from XYZ’s own rally racing team, so the numbers reflect what has actually worked on stage rather than a desk calculation.
