XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally Coilovers — Toyota PREVIA / ESTIMA MCR50 2006-2026

The Previa / Estima MCR50 is a big, tall MPV that carries its weight high and spreads it across a long wheelbase, and its factory suspension was tuned to keep all of that hushed and pliant on the motorway. Point it down a broken, fast tarmac road and that softness becomes the enemy: the body heaves, the nose dives under braking, and the front tyres go light at exactly the wrong moment. The XYZ Racing Tarmac Rally coilover exists to settle that tall body without turning the ride brittle.

This is sealed-stage rally hardware adapted to the MCR50 platform. The damping is set up to swallow a sudden mid-corner ridge and put the tyre straight back on the road, so a heavy people-carrier keeps steering where it is pointed when the surface stops cooperating.

What this coilover does for your 2006-2026 Toyota Previa / Estima MCR50

On a platform this tall, the single biggest gain is vertical control. Firmer, rally-derived damping reins in the roll and pitch the standard Estima leans on, so the front axle stays planted under braking and the body stops floating over crests. You feel it most as steering you can trust at speed: the nose follows your input instead of washing wide. Ride height drops a useful amount, lowering the centre of gravity of a vehicle that badly needs it and tucking the wheels into the arches. Over rough, patched tarmac the damper soaks up the big hits rather than firing them through the cabin, which keeps the tyres loaded and the whole van feeling tied down instead of nervous.

About the Tarmac Rally coilover

The Tarmac Rally series is engineered around one job: keeping a car stable on the uneven, high-speed surface of a sealed rally stage. The valving is tuned to absorb the impact of broken pavement and to take the jolt out of a big bump or kerb strike, suppressing the body shock that would otherwise pitch the chassis and unload a tyre. By controlling that movement, the damper keeps the contact patch pressed into the road for longer, and that is where the extra traction and the steadier, more predictable handling come from. Every setting in the range is drawn from XYZ Racing’s own Tarmac Rally competition experience, so the baseline is a tune that has already done the work on a real stage rather than a generic fast-road guess. On the MCR50 that means a damper with the travel and control to manage a heavy body over surfaces that would overwhelm a softer setup.
