Few platforms test a damper like a full-size MPV. The MCR30 Previa / Estima carries its V6 high and wide, with a tall roofline and the better part of two tonnes to manage through a corner – the kind of mass and roll the factory dampers were never asked to contain at speed. The XYZ Racing Circuit Master coilover sits at the opposite end of that brief: a full competition-spec damper built for sustained circuit lap-time work.
Fitting one to a Previa / Estima is a deliberate decision. This is the firmest, most adjustable kit XYZ Racing builds, sitting above the Super Sport and Top Sport tiers, and it earns its place when the goal is to pin down body movement on a heavy, top-heavy chassis rather than simply drop it on its bump stops.
What this coilover does for your 1999-2003 Toyota Previa / Estima MCR30
On a chassis this tall, the difference is immediate and physical. The Circuit Master’s three independent adjustment knobs separate damping behaviour across the stroke, so you can hold the MCR30 flat through long corners while still soaking up kerbing and mid-corner surface changes without the body pitching. With 9720 distinct adjustment combinations on tap, you can wind in enough compression to arrest the forward weight transfer that makes a standard Previa / Estima dive under braking, then trim rebound to keep the inside wheels loaded as the nose settles. Ride height is set separately from spring preload, so you can lower the centre of gravity – the single biggest handling problem on a vehicle that started life riding this high – without giving up the damper travel a heavy car needs.
About the Circuit Master coilover
The Circuit Master is the top of XYZ Racing’s competition family, developed alongside the firm’s Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally builds and validated by XYZ racing teams on international circuits across a long test programme. Its defining feature is that 9720-way adjustment range, delivered through three separate knobs that control damping independently rather than the single combined adjuster found on lesser kits – the breadth of setup that competition drivers rely on to meet a given circuit’s demands. There is one characteristic to expect by design: the three-knob valving runs a small oil-hole passage, so over large bumps you may hear a faint noise as oil moves through the restricted port. That is normal behaviour, not a fault, and a non-issue on the smooth surfaces this damper was built for. It is unashamedly a circuit tool, engineered for track use first with road manners a secondary concern.
Fitment for the Toyota Previa / Estima (1999-2003)
This kit is built specifically for the MCR30-chassis Toyota Previa / Estima produced between 1999 and 2003. Confirm your chassis code reads MCR30 before ordering, as fitment is tied to this exact platform and year span rather than to the wider Estima range.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
Top mounts included with your kit
Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.
Pillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
Hardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.
OE (factory) mountOERetains the OEM (factory) upper mount — preserves the original ride comfort, noise and vibration behaviour for a stock-like feel.
