XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Toyota COROLLA AURIS SPORT E210 (Rear Multi-Link Suspension) (Modified Rear Integrated)(Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2018-2026

Gravel-stage rally punishes a suspension in ways tarmac never does: sandstone ruts, compression spikes over crests, and G-loads that arrive sideways as often as they arrive straight down. The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover for the E210-generation Corolla/Auris Sport is built around that reality, not around a smooth apex.

This is the multi-link-rear version of the kit, matched to the cancellation kit needed where the factory electronic damping control is deleted. On a road car pressed into stage work, that distinction matters – get the rear geometry wrong and the car fights you through every compression, long before the tyres run out of grip.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 Toyota Corolla Auris Sport

Long-stroke travel is the headline benefit here: it lets the E210’s multi-link rear absorb a rutted gravel crest without slamming into the bump stops, keeping the tyre in contact with the surface instead of skipping across it. The inverted-tube damper body copes with the sandstone, snow and silt that would otherwise pack into a conventional shock and degrade its response mid-stage. Because the unit is built to survive extreme cornering G-force rather than just support ride height, the rear axle stays composed under the kind of lateral load a hot hatch running on tarmac springs would never see. For a chassis that was never homologated for rally use, that stroke length and inverted construction are what make gravel-stage running viable rather than damaging.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

This is a damper line developed specifically for rally and rallycross, disciplines that put the shock absorber through the roughest surface conditions of any motorsport category. XYZ Racing uses an inverted-tube layout so the damper can be tuned to cope with the full spread of loose-surface conditions – sand, snow, silt – without the piston rod being exposed to abrasive debris. The long stroke pairs with a long spring to soak up chassis vibration transmitted from high-speed, bouncy surfaces, rather than passing it straight into the body. Spring rate settings across the range were validated by an active rally racing team, so the baseline set-up reflects stage-tested loads rather than a road-car estimate scaled up. It’s a construction philosophy built around survival and control on broken ground first, with on-road comfort a distant second consideration.

Fitment for the Toyota Corolla Auris Sport E210 (2018-2026)

This kit is specced for the E210-generation Corolla/Auris Sport built between 2018 and 2026, chassis code TO81-C, with the multi-link rear suspension layout. It includes the cancellation kit required where the car’s factory electronic damping control system is being removed in favour of the manually adjustable Gravel Rally dampers.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.
