XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Toyota ALPHARD AH40 4WD 2023-2026

A 4WD Alphard AH40 carries close to two tonnes on a chassis drawn up for third-row legroom and a soft ride, not for holding an angle through a hairpin – which is precisely the gap XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built to close. Where the factory dampers let the body roll and wallow the moment weight shifts hard to one corner, this kit gives the Alphard’s tall body the control it needs to hold a slide rather than fight it.

For competitive drifting in a full-size 4WD MPV, body control at the point of transition is everything: the moment the rear steps out, a soft factory setup lets the Alphard’s mass keep moving after the chassis has already changed direction. The Pro Racing Drift Spec kit is tuned to shorten that lag, giving the driver a platform that answers steering and throttle input instead of trailing behind it.

What this coilover does for your 2023-2026 Toyota ALPHARD AH40 4WD

Fitted to the AH40 4WD, this coilover lowers the centre of gravity and tightens body response when weight transfers hard under trail-braking into a corner – the point where a stock Alphard’s soft factory tune usually lets the nose dive and the tail follow late. Three separate adjustment knobs let you tune compression and rebound without swapping parts, so you can firm the platform up for holding an angle through a bend without turning the ride into something undriveable on the way to the track. Because the kit is height-adjustable, you can drop the AH40 enough to cut body roll and keep that tall roofline’s centre of mass working with the chassis instead of against it, while the 4WD drivetrain still gets even weight transfer across all four corners as ride height comes down. On a car this size and weight, that combination is what turns a slide you’re fighting into one you’re actually controlling.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec line specifically for drift competition, not as a dual-purpose road-and-track compromise. The internal geometry is set up to keep the body stable through high-speed direction changes, which is what lets a driver hold a clean, consistent angle instead of correcting for body movement mid-slide. Getting the ride height right, with the correct amount of bump stroke, is what unlocks the kit’s actual drift control – set it wrong and you lose the benefit the coilover is built to give. Damping runs through three adjustment knobs, each feeding oil through a small internal passage; over rough surfaces that narrow oil path can produce a faint noise as fluid moves through it, which is a normal characteristic of this valving rather than a fault. XYZ Racing tuned this kit around circuit-track surfaces, so the valving doesn’t need to compromise for potholes or expansion joints the way a road-biased coilover would.

Fitment for the Toyota ALPHARD AH40 4WD (2023-2026)

This kit is built for the Toyota ALPHARD AH40 4WD, chassis code TO89, covering the 2023 to 2026 model years. It’s specced for the 4WD drivetrain variant of the AH40, so confirm your Alphard is the 4WD version before ordering rather than the 2WD equivalent.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
