XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Skoda SUPERB B8 WAGON 4WD φ55 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2015-2026

A modified Superb B8 Wagon running 4WD Haldex drive presents a different problem to a coilover than a fast-road build does: getting the best part of two tonnes of estate off the line cleanly before the front axle unloads and the rear tyres spin instead of biting. XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing coilover for the Skoda Superb is built around that single moment – the 0-400m launch – rather than mid-corner body control.

Where a Top Sport or Super Sport set-up chases compliance over bumps and consistent track-day damping, this kit is tuned to manage weight transfer under hard acceleration: shifting load onto the rear axle fast enough that the driven tyres bite instead of spinning against a nose-heavy Superb chassis still settling from a standing start.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2026 Skoda Superb

Drag launches expose exactly what a road-biased coilover gets wrong on a heavy 4WD estate: too much front rebound and the nose stays high, denying the front tyres grip in the first tenths of a second; too little rear compression control and the back end squats unevenly instead of loading both driven tyres together. This kit’s damping is set up to manage that transfer in one direction rather than trying to cover cornering, braking and launch all at once, so the Superb settles onto its rear tyres predictably run after run. Ride height is also adjustable, letting you set a stance that keeps the Haldex system’s front-to-rear torque split working as intended rather than fighting an unbalanced chassis.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing built this coilover specifically for 0-400m drag work across front-, rear- and four-wheel-drive platforms, rather than adapting a circuit-biased design. The core idea is deliberate weight management under launch: the set-up is calibrated to shift load from front to rear the instant the car is put under power, so the driven tyres are pressed into the tarmac harder and for longer than they would be on standard or track-oriented suspension. That reduces the moment where a tyre is spinning without a full contact patch, which is where launches are lost, and it keeps the car settled through the transition from standing start to full acceleration instead of letting the body lift and unload. On the Superb’s 4WD platform, that same principle applies to loading the rear axle so the Haldex clutch has consistent grip to distribute torque through.

Fitment for the Skoda Superb (2015-2026)

This kit is built for the Superb B8 Wagon in 4WD guise (chassis code SK27-C), covering 2015 to 2026 production. It is specified as the Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping variant, replacing the factory adaptive DCC dampers with fixed manual damper units so the drag-tuned set-up is not overridden by the standard electronic control system.

What buyers also search for

  • Skoda Superb B8 4WD owners search for drag racing suspension that manages weight transfer off the line.
  • Superb B8 Wagon coilovers built around standing-start launches rather than lap time are hard to find outside a kit built specifically for that job.
  • A DCC cancellation kit lets Superb owners run manual damping control instead of the factory electronic dampers.
  • Ride height adjustment on the Superb B8 SK27-C helps keep the Haldex system loaded evenly for drag events.

If you’re building a Superb B8 4WD for straight-line events rather than track days, configure yours below to match ride height and damping to your car.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
