XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Seat LEON 5F φ50 (Rear Multi-Link Suspension) Modified Rear Integrated 2012-2026

Rally and rallycross throw compressions at a chassis that a track lap never will – a gravel crest or a rutted snow bank lands far harder than any kerb, and the Seat LEON 5F’s front-driven, multi-link rear layout needs a damper built around that abuse rather than one simply stiffened up from road spec. The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the LEON 5F (chassis code SE23-3, 2012-2026) is built on that brief, with extended travel at both ends so the car stays settled when the surface stops cooperating.

That extra travel is only useful if the shock can survive it. This kit carries a larger internal volume of suspension oil and nitrogen gas than a road-biased setup, which matters over a long stage or a full day on loose surfaces where a smaller-capacity shock will heat up and start to fade.

What this coilover does for your 2012-2026 Seat LEON 5F φ50 (Rr Multi-Link Suspension) Modified Rr Integrated

Fitted to a LEON 5F running the modified rear-integrated mount specification, this coilover keeps the multi-link rear axle working through impacts that would otherwise unsettle the car mid-corner or mid-jump. The longer-travel front and rear struts absorb big hits before they reach the chassis, so the car tracks straighter over rutted gravel and compacted snow instead of skipping sideways. The added oil and gas volume gives the shock somewhere to put the heat generated by repeated hard compressions, which is the difference between consistent damping on stage six and a shock that has gone soft by stage three. Because the platform is a front-driven 5F rather than a bespoke rally shell, getting that stability without upsetting the factory geometry matters more than it would on a purpose-fabricated competition car.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This type in the range is built specifically for rally and rallycross duty rather than tarmac lapping. Both front and rear struts get longer travel than XYZ Racing’s circuit-focused coilovers, giving the suspension a bigger buffer before it runs out of stroke on a big landing or a deep rut. Internally, the shock body holds a larger charge of suspension oil and nitrogen gas, which slows the rate at which the oil heats up under sustained hard use and helps the damping stay consistent later in a stage than it would in a smaller-volume unit. Adjustment is via three knobs, and the oil is routed through deliberately small passages at each one; over big compressions this can produce a faint noise from the valving, which is a normal by-product of the design rather than a fault. The same construction that copes with rough loose surfaces also shrugs off kerbs and mid-corner bumps if the car sees circuit time too.

Fitment for the Seat LEON 5F φ50 (Rr Multi-Link Suspension) Modified Rr Integrated (2012-2026)

This kit is specified for the LEON 5F, chassis code SE23-3, across the 2012 to 2026 build range, on cars fitted with the independent multi-link rear axle and the modified rear-integrated mounting arrangement rather than the standard torsion-beam rear. Confirm your car uses this rear-mount specification before ordering, since the SE23-3 code covers more than one Leon rear-suspension layout.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
