XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Seat LEON 5F φ50 (Rear Multi-Link Suspension) Modified Rear Integrated (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2012-2026

The Leon 5F’s rear multi-link axle – fitted to φ50-strut cars rather than the torsion-beam layout used on lower-spec trims – gives this chassis genuine multi-link geometry at the back end, and that’s the platform the Circuit Master coilover is built to exploit. On cars specced with Volkswagen Group’s DCC adaptive damping, swapping to a fixed coilover normally leaves the dash flagging a fault; this kit bundles the electronic damping cancellation module so the Circuit Master installs clean, without the ECU hunting for a damper signal that no longer exists.

Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s competition range, built for cars doing repeat circuit sessions rather than the occasional trackday – exactly the use case where a standard Leon 5F front end starts to show its limits under sustained cornering load.

What this coilover does for your 2012-2026 Seat LEON 5F

With 9720 combinations available across the Circuit Master’s three external adjustment knobs, you can set compression and rebound independently front and rear rather than compromise on one dial – useful on an MQB-platform car like the Leon 5F, where front-axle load under trail-braking and FWD power-down both want a slightly different damping response. Tightening control at the rear multi-link reduces the wallow the standard suspension shows mid-corner, while a firmer front end cuts the nose-dive that eats into turn-in precision on a car carrying most of its weight over the front axle. Ride height adjusts independently of spring preload, so you can lower the Leon’s stance without stacking preload onto the spring and shifting the rate you’ve chosen. For cars that ran DCC from the factory, replacing the electronic damper with a fixed, mechanically adjustable unit takes the software’s compromise settings out of how the car reacts to kerbs and camber changes on circuit.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master is the flagship of XYZ Racing’s competition line, sitting alongside the brand’s Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally dampers, and it’s been developed and run in competition by XYZ’s own racing teams across multiple countries. The damper uses a small-orifice internal oil path metered by the three external knobs, which is what produces the 9720 damping combinations on offer. A side effect of that fine metering is a faint noise over sharp bumps as oil moves through the smaller passage – that’s normal wear of the design, not a fault, and it’s a trade XYZ made deliberately because this damper isn’t built to soak up broken tarmac at speed; it’s built to hold a consistent response through a full circuit session. That’s the distinction worth understanding before fitting one to a car that also does motorway miles: this is a track-focused damper first, and the Leon 5F platform it’s calibrated for needs to be read the same way.

Fitment for the Seat LEON 5F (2012-2026)

This kit is specced for the Seat Leon 5F on chassis code SE23-3-C, covering the range from 2012 through 2026, specifically the φ50-strut cars running rear multi-link suspension rather than the torsion-beam set-up. The cancellation kit for electronic damping is included for cars originally fitted with adaptive electronic dampers, so converting to the Circuit Master’s fixed damping doesn’t leave a fault code showing on the dash.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
