XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Nissan TEANA J32 6 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) 2009-2026

The J32 Teana carries its weight low and far back over a long wheelbase, and on a loose gravel stage that mass doesn’t disappear – it has to be managed compression after compression, corner after corner, without the dampers giving up halfway through a stage. A fast-road coilover asked to do that job will heat up, fade, and pack down. XYZ Racing’s Gravel Rally coilover for the six-cylinder Teana is built specifically around that failure mode, not around a smooth b-road.

This is the spec for stage work rather than track lapping or a stiffer daily commute: a long-travel, high-abuse setup designed to keep the J32’s front and rear axles tracking the surface on sandstone, snow, silt, and everything in between, rather than skipping over it.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2026 TEANA J32 6 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated)

The long-stroke damper and matching long free-length spring give the Teana’s suspension far more travel to work with than a road-biased kit, so a rutted gravel crest or a sudden compression doesn’t slam the chassis into its bump stops. That extra stroke is what lets the car keep its wheels loaded and steering inputs meaningful when the surface underneath is constantly changing camber and grip. The inverted-tube damper body is orientated to keep the working seals and internals better protected from the debris a gravel stage throws at the underside of the car, which matters over a full stage rather than a single photo-op pass. Through fast direction changes the setup is built to carry the cornering loads a heavy six-cylinder saloon generates without the damping collapsing, which is the difference between the Teana staying planted mid-corner and washing wide.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

The Gravel Rally is XYZ Racing’s damper for rally and rally-cross use rather than tarmac track days, built around the fact that a gravel special stage is the roughest surface any of their products are asked to survive. The inverted-tube layout is a deliberate response to that: it is aimed at holding up across the different faces a stage throws at a car, from loose sandstone to snow-pack to fine silt, where grip and surface consistency change corner to corner. Long stroke and a correspondingly long spring are specified together so the damper can soak up chassis vibration and absorb hard hits from high-speed, broken ground without bottoming out or transmitting the impact straight into the chassis. The spring rates fitted are not desk figures – they’re settings that have been run and validated by a rally racing team, so the baseline supplied with this kit reflects rates that have already done the job on an actual stage rather than a theoretical one.

Fitment for the Nissan TEANA J32 6 CYL (Modified Rr Integrated) (2009-2026)

This kit is built for the Nissan Teana J32, six-cylinder variant, chassis code NI52, across the 2009-2026 model span. The rear axle uses a modified, rear-integrated mounting arrangement rather than a stock damper-top swap, so confirm your car matches the "Modified Rr Integrated" rear specification before ordering.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
