XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Nissan TEANA J32 4 CYL (Modified Rear Integrated) 2009-2026

Straight-line launches load a car very differently to a fast corner, and the Teana J32’s front-wheel-drive layout makes that worse: weight transfers rearward off the line, the front tyres unload, and wheelspin creeps in before the transmission is even close to its power band. The XYZ Racing Drag Racing coilover is built specifically for that 0-400m window, not for lateral grip.

For a FWD saloon like the J32 running the 4-cylinder engine, getting that front-to-rear weight balance right in the first fraction of a second is what separates a clean launch from a bogged one. This kit lets you shift the car’s weight distribution to suit how the Teana puts power down, rather than leaving the chassis to settle wherever a fast-road setup happens to land it.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2026 Nissan Teana

On a drag-prepped Teana J32, the immediate change is how much rubber the driven tyres keep in contact with the tarmac during launch. By allowing the front and rear ride height and weight bias to be set independently, the kit forces more compression into the front tyres at launch, which cuts the idle spin period where power is going nowhere. Less wheelspin off the line means the J32 gets its 4-cylinder torque converted into forward motion sooner, and the car settles into a straighter, more repeatable run instead of wandering while the front end searches for grip. Because the setup is tuned around the way this specific chassis transfers load under acceleration rather than cornering, it does the opposite job to a track-focused coilover – stability under one-directional load, not lateral composure.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing range is built around a single job: managing weight transfer during 0-400m runs across FWD, RWD and 4WD platforms. Rather than tuning for mid-corner body control, the valving and ride-height adjustment are set up to move load onto the driven wheels the instant the car launches, increasing tyre compression at the contact patch and shortening the period where the tyre is spinning faster than the car is moving. That reduction in idle wheelspin is the mechanism behind more stable high-speed straight-line runs – the tyre is doing useful work sooner in the run instead of just heating up. Because the same core design covers front-, rear- and four-wheel-drive cars, the adjustment range is deliberately broad, letting each installation be biased toward whichever axle is doing the driving.

Fitment for the Nissan Teana (2009-2026)

This kit is built for the Nissan Teana J32, 4-cylinder, in Modified Rr Integrated configuration, covering the 2009-2026 range. Confirm your Teana matches the J32 chassis code and the 4-cylinder engine before ordering, as coilover geometry is matched to this specific drivetrain layout.

What buyers also search for

  • Nissan Teana J32 drag racing suspension setup for 0-400m launches
  • Nissan Teana coilovers for reducing front wheelspin off the line
  • Nissan Teana J32 weight transfer tuning for FWD drag runs
  • Nissan Teana adjustable ride height for straight-line stability
  • Nissan Teana drag coilover kit for the 4-cylinder J32

Front-to-rear weight bias is one of the biggest variables you control on launch day – configure yours below to match how your Teana J32 puts power down.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
