XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz E CLASS W212 4 CYL 2009-2016

The W212 E-Class carries its weight low and long between the axles, and in the 4-cylinder cars – E200 and E250 CGI turbo – that mass sits noticeably further back than it does in the V6 and V8 models. Get a rear-drive saloon this size sideways at speed and the hard part isn’t finding oversteer, it’s holding a controlled angle through the transition without the body rolling out from under you.

XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover kit for the Mercedes Benz E Class W212 (2009-2016) is built around exactly that problem: keeping the chassis flat and predictable while you’re deliberately unsettling it. It’s a circuit-track product first, tuned for repeatable slide angles rather than outright ride comfort.

What this coilover kit does for your 2009-2016 Mercedes Benz E Class W212

Drop the ride height correctly with the right bump stroke set and the W212’s body control changes character – roll is checked earlier in the corner, and the transition from grip to slide becomes something you can call rather than something that happens to you. Adjustment runs through three separate knobs, letting you set compression and rebound independently so low-speed circuit transitions can be tuned apart from the higher-frequency inputs of kerbs and track undulations. Stiffen the front over the rear and you can sharpen initial rotation on turn-in without losing the rear-end stability needed to catch and hold the slide once it starts. For a 4-cylinder E-Class, where the nose carries less weight than the V6 and V8 cars, that front-to-rear balance is where most of the gain sits.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing designed this kit specifically around drift competition rather than adapting a general track coilover for the job. The valving is set to stabilise the body through fast, high-angle direction changes, holding the car’s line so a driver can find and hold a precise slide angle instead of fighting body movement mid-corner. Ride height is meant to come down as part of a proper drift set-up, and the kit’s bump stroke is calculated so a lowered stance doesn’t eat into usable travel. The three adjustment knobs feed damping oil through a deliberately narrow internal passage – at low speed over sharp bumps you may hear a faint noise as oil moves through that small oil-hole design, which is a normal characteristic of the valving rather than a fault. Because the kit is built for circuit and drift-track surfaces rather than broken British B-roads, that valving behaviour is a non-issue where it’s meant to be used.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz E Class W212 (2009-2016)

This kit is engineered for the W212-generation Mercedes Benz E Class fitted with the 4-cylinder engine range, chassis code ME12, covering 2009 to 2016 build years. Check your specific engine variant against the 4-cylinder range before ordering – the V6 and diesel W212 cars carry different corner weights and are covered separately.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
