XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz E CLASS COUPE C207 4 CYL 2009-2017

The C207 E-Class Coupe was never built with drift in mind – it is a heavy, long-wheelbase GT with weight distribution that wants to understeer its way out of trouble, not rotate on command. The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover exists to override that instinct, giving the car the body control and angle stability a competitive drift run actually demands.

For a 4-cylinder C207 running sideways at a drift event or circuit day, the priority isn’t outright grip, it’s predictability at extreme slip angles and a chassis that holds its line once you’ve committed to the throttle. This kit is built around that brief, not around comfort or daily-driving compromise.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2017 Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe C207 4 CYL

Once the ride height is dropped and set through the available bump stroke, the C207’s body control through high-speed transitions changes noticeably – the nose stops pitching and diving mid-drift, which is what lets you hold an angle rather than fight to recover one. The 3-way adjustment knobs mean you can bias the setup toward stabilising the rear under power rather than leaving it soft and unpredictable, which matters on a chassis this size and weight. Because the internals are built around a small oil-hole passage design, damping response stays controlled even under repeated hard inputs, rather than fading as the session goes on. Expect a firmer, more deliberate ride than the factory air suspension ever offered – that’s the trade for a coupe that can actually be pointed and held through a corner instead of just carried through it.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is a coilover built specifically around drift’s demands rather than adapted from a track-day platform. The internal architecture is engineered to keep the car’s body stable through fast, high-angle direction changes, which is the difference between a controllable slide and one that snaps away from you. Ride height comes down through a proper bump-stroke reduction rather than a crude spring cut, which is what lets the drift geometry stay usable instead of bottoming out. The 3 adjustment knobs run on a small oil-hole passage design; under sustained hard use, particularly over bumps, this can produce some minor noise from the oil moving through that restricted passage – that’s a normal characteristic of the design, not a fault. It’s built with circuit and track surfaces in mind, so bumps and kerbs on a drift or race circuit aren’t a concern for durability.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe C207 4 CYL (2009-2017)

Fits the Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe, chassis code ME15, across the 2009-2017 production run for 4-cylinder variants. Confirm your build date and engine code fall within this range before ordering, as coupe-specific mounting points differ from the saloon and estate C207 relatives.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
