XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz A CLASS W177 A35 4WD φ55.5 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2019-2026

The W177 A35’s 4MATIC system continuously shuffles torque toward the rear axle under power, letting a chassis built for daily-driver traction hold a slide once you know how to provoke it. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that behaviour rather than against it, giving the A35 the ride height, damping range and rear-end control a competitive drift car actually needs.

Where a fast-road coilover would fight body roll and call it a day, this kit is set up to let the rear step out predictably and then hold that angle through a corner. It’s the right choice if you’re building this A35 for circuit drift work rather than fast-road use, where response and communication under lock matter more than outright comfort.

What this coilover does for your 2019-2026 Mercedes Benz A CLASS W177 A35 4WD φ55.5 (Modified Rr Integrated)

Once the Pro Racing Drift Spec kit is fitted, the first thing you’ll notice is how much more of the A35’s weight transfer you can actually read and use mid-slide. The 55.5mm damper body gives the unit enough oil volume and heat capacity to keep working through repeated, sustained drift passes rather than fading after a handful of runs, and the three external knobs adjust damping force independently of the threaded ride-height collar, so you can set the car up for the angle you’re chasing rather than a single street compromise. Dropping the ride height with the correct bump stroke tightens response at initiation, so the rear steps out on your input instead of lagging behind it. On a car whose factory suspension is tuned for grip and comfort, that’s a meaningful shift in how much of the slide you’re actually driving versus reacting to.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec range specifically for drift competition rather than adapting a road kit for the job. The goal is body control at high yaw angles and high speed, holding the car settled enough through a committed turn-in that the driver can hit a clean, repeatable angle instead of correcting for chassis movement. Three external adjustment knobs manage damping, routing oil through a deliberately small internal passage that sharpens response at the initiation phase. That same small-passage design can produce a faint noise over sharp bumps and kerbs; that’s a by-product of the tuning, not a fault, and it’s irrelevant on the circuit surfaces this kit is engineered for rather than pockmarked B-roads. Set correctly, with the ride height dropped and bump stroke matched to the car, the rear axle stays settled enough at full lock that drift control becomes a matter of throttle and steering input rather than fighting the suspension.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz A CLASS W177 A35 4WD φ55.5 (Modified Rr Integrated) (2019-2026)

This kit is built for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class W177 A35 4MATIC, chassis code ME51-1, covering the 2019-2026 model years. It’s specced for the modified rear-integrated mounting used on the 4WD A35, so the rear units locate correctly on this platform rather than a generic W177 fitment. Confirm your build matches this exact chassis code before ordering, as coilover mounting differs across the W177 range.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
