XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Lexus LC500 (URZ100) (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2018-2026

The URZ100’s factory Adaptive Variable Suspension is built to smooth out a 470bhp V8 grand tourer, not to hold an angle through a sustained slide, and that’s the first problem this kit solves. Because the LC500 runs its dampers electronically from the factory, XYZ Racing’s Drift Spec coilover ships as a cancellation kit for that system – the AVS wiring is overridden so the car stops arguing with the driver and the suspension responds only to the coilover’s own settings.

With the electronics out of the loop, the kit’s job is to keep that long, nose-heavy 2+2 platform settled at the yaw angles competitive drifting demands. Lower the ride height with the correct bump stroke set for this chassis and the LC500 stops wallowing into a slide and starts holding it, transition after transition.

What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 Lexus LC500

Cutting the OEM AVS logic out and replacing it with fixed, driver-set damping removes the single biggest obstacle to controlling this car sideways: a factory system trying to calm the chassis down mid-drift. Once the cancellation kit is fitted, the coilover’s own damping and lowered ride height do the work of stabilising the body through initiation, keeping the nose planted despite the 2UR-GSE V8 sitting well forward in the chassis. Correct bump stroke for the lowered ride height stops the LC500 crashing into its bump stops mid-transition, which is what actually lets a driver hold an angle rather than catch and correct. The result on a 2018-2026 LC500 is a chassis that changes direction predictably at speed instead of fighting the driver’s inputs the way the stock GT-tuned suspension is designed to.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec line specifically around the demands of competitive drifting rather than adapting a road or track kit for the job. The core aim is body control at high-speed turn-in – keeping the car’s attitude consistent so a driver can commit to an angle instead of guessing where the chassis will settle. Ride height comes down as standard, but the bump stroke is calculated to match that lower stance so the suspension still has usable travel left to manage weight transfer through a slide. For the LC500 specifically, that means the kit is paired with electronics that remove the AVS system from the equation entirely, since a factory-controlled damper has no place in a car being driven on the limit sideways. The combined result is a suspension setup engineered to make angle control repeatable rather than a lottery.

Fitment for the Lexus LC500 (URZ100) (2018-2026)

This kit is built specifically for the URZ100-chassis LC500 across the 2018-2026 model years, and it is the variant required for cars fitted with Lexus’s factory electronic damping – the cancellation kit is what lets a manually adjustable coilover replace that system cleanly rather than fighting it. Confirm your car carries the AVS-equipped electronic suspension before ordering this specific version.

Fitting a coilover to a factory AVS car isn’t a bolt-on job without sorting the electronics first – configure yours below to get the correct Drift Spec and cancellation kit combination for your LC500.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
