XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 6 SERIES F13 2011-2018

The F13 6 Series is a 1,900kg grand tourer with a long wheelbase, a wide track, and weight distribution that punishes a soft damper on turn-in. Take it onto a circuit on the standard adaptive setup and the nose washes wide on entry, the rear squats under power on exit, and the brakes cook the dampers inside three laps. The Circuit Master is the XYZ Racing spec built specifically to stop all of that happening.

This is the coilover XYZ uses on its own race programmes, not a fast-road kit with a track badge stuck on. For a 640i, 650i or M6 F13 being run in anger at Snetterton, Donington or Spa, the Circuit Master rewrites how the chassis behaves once the tyres are hot and the brakes are working.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2018 Bmw 6 Series F13

Drop the F13 onto Circuit Master and the first thing you notice is the front end finally pointing where you’ve asked it to. Body roll on turn-in collapses, the long bonnet stops floating, and the car rotates on the throttle in a way the factory damping simply won’t allow. Under heavy braking from three-figure speeds the nose stays level instead of diving, which keeps the front tyres in their contact patch and gives the ABS far less work to do.

Out of slow corners the rear axle hooks up cleanly rather than squatting and lighting up the inside wheel. The 9720 individual damping settings mean the car can be set firm enough for a smooth circuit like Goodwood and then softened off for a bumpier surface like Cadwell, all from the same kit. The trade-off is honest: this is a circuit damper first, so on broken back roads it talks to you.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of the XYZ competitive range, alongside the Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally builds. It has been developed and tested by XYZ racing teams on international circuits, with the long-run data those programmes generate fed back into the damper valving. The headline is 9720 separate adjustment combinations – bump, rebound and a third compression knob worked through small-orifice valving that gives genuinely fine control rather than three useless clicks between meaningful changes.

That small-orifice design is the reason Circuit Master finds the bandwidth competition dampers usually miss. The trade-off is that oil moving through tight passages over a sharp impact can produce a faint mechanical noise. XYZ flags this openly: it is a function of the valving, not a fault, and it is the price of a damper built for circuit surfaces rather than UK B-roads. The construction is engineered around sustained heat-soak conditions, not a single hot lap.

Fitment for the Bmw 6 Series F13 (2011-2018)

This kit is built for the F13 chassis 6 Series coupe across the full 2011-2018 production run, covering 640i, 650i and the M6 F13 derivatives sharing the platform. The damper geometry and pickup points are F13-specific. If your car is an F12 convertible or F06 Gran Coupe, the part number is different – confirm your chassis code before you order.
