XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 5 SERIES F10 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2010-2017

The F10 5 Series was never built to slide. It is a 1.6-tonne executive saloon with a long wheelbase, a heavy nose over the front axle, and – on most UK-spec cars – an electronic damping system that fights every input the moment you try to provoke the rear. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover, in this specific BM75-C variant, exists to undo that. The cancellation kit bypasses the factory EDC loop so the ECU stops throwing dashboard errors the second you bin the OEM struts.

What you are buying is a purpose-shaped tool for a chassis most people would never consider sliding. The N53/N55 straight-six F10s have the power and the differential geometry to make a credible drift platform if you can get the body to settle on the rear axle and stay there mid-angle. That is the entire job description of this coilover.

What this coilover does for your 2010-2017 Bmw 5 Series F10 (cancellation Kit For Electronic Damping)

Drop the F10 onto a properly sprung coilover with the EDC delete in place and the first thing you feel is the body stop arguing with itself. The factory adaptive struts try to firm up under load and soften on initiation – exactly the wrong response when you are trying to hold a sustained angle. With fixed-rate damping and the right bump stroke, weight transfer becomes predictable and the rear axle stops walking. Ride height comes down enough to cut the centre of gravity without killing geometry, and the front end starts to bite on turn-in instead of pushing wide. The result is a saloon that will hold a steering angle through a long sweeper rather than snapping straight the moment you lift.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec around one job: stabilising the body during high-speed transitions so the driver can place the car at the angle they want and stay there. The damping curve is shaped for sustained sideways load rather than peak grip, and the spring and bump-stop pairing is set up so that once you have dropped the ride height the chassis still has usable travel to work with. The cancellation harness in this BM75-C package handles the F10’s electronic damping signal so the suspension control module stops triggering faults after install. The kit is intended for competitive drifting, but it also tells you something useful about XYZ’s engineering brief – this is not a softened road coilover relabelled, it is a separate specification built around a separate set of physics.

Fitment for the Bmw 5 SERIES F10 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) (2010-2017)

This kit is the BM75-C variant, specific to F10 5 Series cars fitted from the factory with electronic damping control. The included cancellation harness is what makes the swap clean on EDC-equipped chassis. Year coverage is 2010 to 2017, covering pre-LCI and LCI cars on the standard F10 platform.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
