XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Audi TT RS 8J 4WD φ55 2006-2014

Drifting a 4WD platform is a different discipline to chasing angle in a rear-drive car, and the TT RS 8J’s quattro system fights you every step of the way unless the chassis is set up to work with it, not against it. The Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built specifically around that problem: stabilising body movement through high-speed direction changes so the car holds a controlled angle instead of snapping or washing out mid-transition.

For a car that most people still associate with fast-road grip rather than sideways competition, that’s a genuine shift in what the TT RS 8J is capable of. This is a drift-specific tune, not a generic lowering kit repurposed for the job.

What this coilover does for your 2006-2014 Audi TT RS

Lower the ride height with the correct bump stroke set and the difference in drift control on this car is immediate – body roll that would otherwise upset the quattro system’s torque split under lateral load is reined in, so power stays where you put it through the turn. The 3-way adjustment knobs let you retune compression and rebound independently as you find the angle and speed that suit your car and the layout you’re driving, rather than settling for one compromise setting. Because the damping is purpose-tuned for sustained high-speed cornering rather than one-off hits, the TT RS 8J holds its line through repeated direction changes without the front end losing composure. Owners running this quattro platform on track or drift days will notice the car settling into a drift rather than fighting to hold one.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This coilover is built around a single job: making a 4WD chassis controllable at a drift angle. The internal design uses a small-passage oil circuit through the 3 adjustment knobs, which changes how damping fluid moves under load and gives finer control over how the body reacts as you push into a slide. Fitted with the correct ride height and bump stroke, it’s tuned to hold that angle rather than let the car snap back to grip or continue into a spin. One side effect of the small-passage design is a bit of extra noise through the dampers on rough sections of track – that’s the fluid working through the smaller channel as designed, not a fault. The tune is built for circuit and track-day use, where surface irregularities are part of the environment rather than an occasional pothole.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
