XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Audi TT 8S φ55 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2015-2026

The Audi TT 8S carries quattro’s nose-heavy weight bias and a rear axle that most owners never touch, which is exactly why a Gravel/Snow-spec coilover with a modified, fully integrated rear end matters here. This isn’t a road-and-track compromise part – it’s built for loose-surface work, where the TT 8S needs long-travel absorption front and rear to keep the chassis settled over broken ground rather than skipping across it.

Where a standard circuit coilover fights body roll on smooth tarmac, the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow is built around a different problem: keeping the damper alive and consistent through repeated big hits over an event distance. For an Audi TT 8S running rally or rallycross stages, that difference in intent shows up in every corner.

What this coilover brings to your build

The extended front and rear travel gives the TT 8S a genuinely larger buffer zone before the suspension bottoms out, which matters when the surface underneath is gravel, snow-pack, or anything else that throws unpredictable inputs at the chassis. A larger internal reservoir of suspension oil and nitrogen gas is the other half of the story: more volume means the shock has more thermal mass to work with, so oil temperature stays under control instead of climbing and softening the damping partway through a stage. On a platform like the 8S, where quattro already puts extra load through the rear axle under acceleration out of loose corners, that thermal margin is what keeps the rear end doing the same job on lap ten that it did on lap one. The three-way adjustment lets you retune the balance as conditions change between a dry gravel stage and a snow-covered one, without swapping hardware.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

This is a damper built specifically for rally and rallycross use rather than adapted from a circuit design. The long-travel front and rear geometry exists to give the car a bigger cushion against sudden compression events – the kind of hit a gravel crest or a snow rut delivers without warning. XYZ Racing increased the internal suspension oil and nitrogen gas volume specifically to manage heat: more fluid and gas mean the shock can absorb sustained hard use without the oil overheating and venting, which is the failure mode that kills consistency in endurance-style rally stages. The three adjustment knobs use a small-oil-hole metering design, and on big bumps that passage can produce a faint noise as oil moves through it – that’s a normal characteristic of this valving, not a defect, and it’s the trade-off for the stability the design delivers. The unit is built for circuit and stage use where surface bumps are a constant, not an occasional event.

Fitment for the Audi TT 8S (2015-2026)

This kit is engineered for the Audi TT 8S, chassis code AU46-1, covering the 2015 to 2026 production span, in the φ55 configuration with the modified rear end fully integrated into the design. Because the rear geometry is purpose-modified rather than a bolt-on adaptation, fitment is specific to this exact configuration rather than the standard TT 8S coilover line.

Built for the stages where the surface decides the pace, not the tarmac – configure yours below.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
