Caliper render for this kit:

The Tiguan MK2 carries its weight high and well forward, and that biases everything that happens under braking. On the MQB platform this is a tall, family-weight SUV, frequently specced with 4MOTION, often loaded with people and luggage, and in Tiguan R form pushing past 300bhp. The standard front discs cope with daily duty, but ask them to haul that mass down repeatedly from motorway speed and heat builds faster than they can shed it.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit for the Volkswagen Tiguan MK2 (2016-2026) attacks the problem where it matters most: the front axle, which does the lion’s share of the work on a nose-heavy crossover. Supplied as a matched pair of left and right calipers and two-piece floating discs, it adds swept area and thermal headroom to keep the pedal firm in the conditions where a smaller standard setup would already be fading.
What this big brake kit does for your 2016-2026 Volkswagen Tiguan MK2
On a vehicle this heavy, the gain you notice first is pedal consistency. Where tired standard brakes go long and wooden after a few hard stops, a tow load, a fast B-road, a long descent, the larger front package resists heat soak and keeps bite predictable. The two-piece floating disc and its hollow-vane casting carry that extra capacity while shedding heat fast. Three pad compounds let you match the kit to how you drive: Street for everyday running with quiet, low-dust manners, Sport for harder road use and occasional spirited driving, and Racing for sustained high-temperature work. Stronger initial bite also sharpens turn-in, since you can trail the brakes deeper without the nose pushing wide. And with calipers offered in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, the upgrade reads behind the wheels as clearly as it does through the pedal.
About the Hollow front brake kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a front big brake kit aimed squarely at managing heat on heavy, fast cars. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, shedding mass, and the two-piece floating disc is built around venting temperature and trimming rotating weight, which counts for a lot on an SUV that loads its front axle hard every time you brake. The kit pairs uprated front discs with performance calipers and ships with a choice of three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware suits a daily Tiguan, a tow car, or one that sees the odd track day. Included caliper finishes are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange as upgrades, plus a Hollow Racing caliper rated to 1000C with a two-year warranty for serious track use. As a front-axle kit it concentrates the budget on the wheel-end that generates the most stopping force on this platform, rather than spreading it thin across all four corners.
Fitment for the Volkswagen Tiguan MK2 (2016-2026)
This kit is built for the Volkswagen Tiguan MK2 across the full 2016-2026 model run, covering the second-generation MQB car in front-wheel-drive and 4MOTION forms. It fits the front axle. Check your wheel clearance before ordering, as a big brake kit can require a minimum wheel diameter to clear the larger discs and calipers. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and centre bells can be upgraded to two-tone in five anodized colours or titanium at checkout.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
