Caliper render for this kit:

The Polo 6R puts most of its mass over the front axle, so on a hard-driven supermini the front brakes do nearly all the work and climb in temperature fast. The XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit replaces the two-piece OE front caliper on these cars with a larger, stiffer setup built to keep that heat under control. It is aimed at owners who have started leaning on their Polo on B-roads or the occasional track day and found the standard front end going soft.
This is a front big brake kit, a matched pair of left and right calipers and two-piece floating discs, so the gain shows up first where it matters: initial bite, pedal firmness and resistance to fade once the discs are hot. With three pad compounds and a wide range of caliper finishes, it is specified to match how hard you actually drive the car rather than sold as one fixed package.
What this big brake kit does for your 2014-2018 Volkswagen Polo 6R
The first thing you feel on the road is a higher, firmer pedal: the larger caliper clamps a bigger disc, so the same pedal effort produces more stopping force and less travel. On a light car like the Polo that means shorter, more repeatable stops and far less of the spongy feeling that creeps in once the OE brakes get warm. The pad compound choice does the rest. Street suits daily driving with quiet, low-dust manners, Sport adds bite for fast-road use, and Racing is there for sustained track sessions where heat is the limiting factor. Because the two-piece floating disc and hollow-vane casting tackle fade head-on, you can brake later into a corner and trail the pedal without the front end washing wide under load.
About the Hollow front brake kit
XYZ Racing’s Hollow line focuses on cutting weight at the corners of the car, where mass is both unsprung and rotating and therefore costs the most. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard to keep that weight down. This front kit fits a larger two-piece floating disc and a more rigid performance caliper in place of the two-piece OE unit, so the assembly resists the flex that lets a tired factory brake feel vague. A stiffer caliper keeps the pads square to the disc, which sharpens feel and evens out pad wear. It is offered with three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so one set of hardware spans road, fast-road and track use. Caliper finish is your call: Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black are included at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange offered as upgrades. A Hollow Racing caliper, run without a dust cover and rated to 1000C with a two-year warranty, is available for serious track work. The package is built specifically as a bolt-on upgrade for Polo 6R models running the two-piece OE front caliper.
Fitment for the Volkswagen Polo 6R (2014-2018)
This kit is for the Volkswagen Polo 6R built between 2014 and 2018, and it fits only those cars that left the factory with the two-piece OE front caliper, typically the higher-spec variants. Before ordering, confirm your car runs that two-piece front caliper, as the bracketry and disc sizing are matched to it. If you run small-diameter wheels, check clearance against the larger disc as well. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and centre bells can be upgraded to two-tone in five anodized colours or titanium at checkout.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
