Caliper render for this kit:

The Passat B9 Variant carries serious mass over its front axle, and the 4MOTION drivetrain only loads it further. The XYZ Racing Hollow Front Brake Kit for the Volkswagen Passat B9 Variant 4WD goes after the one job a comfortable GT estate makes hardest: hauling a long, heavy load-lugger down from motorway speed, again and again, without the pedal going long.
This is a front-axle upgrade, a matched pair of left and right calipers and two-piece floating discs, sized for the weight a fully loaded 4MOTION estate puts through its leading wheels. It is the right pick when the standard setup starts to feel vague after a run of hard stops.
What this brake kit does for your 2023-2026 Volkswagen Passat B9 Variant 4WD
The two-piece floating disc adds rotor diameter and surface area while keeping rotating and unsprung mass in check at each front corner, so the leading wheels of a nose-heavy estate change direction and settle with less inertia fighting them. Three pad compounds let you match bite and temperature range to how you actually drive: a quiet, low-dust Street pad for the daily commute and motorway miles, Sport for harder fast-road work, or the Racing compound if you load the car and press it on faster roads. The extra thermal capacity at the front, helped by the hollow-vane casting moving air through the disc, is what keeps pedal feel firm and consistent when a 4MOTION Passat is asked to stop hard repeatedly, whether loaded for a long tow or hustled down a B-road. Caliper colour, painted in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, lets the hardware read as intent rather than afterthought behind the wheel spokes.
About the Hollow front brake kit
XYZ Racing’s Hollow front brake kit is built around weight where it matters: the caliper body is hollow-cast as standard, cutting mass at the spinning front corners, and the two-piece floating disc trims rotating weight as diameter goes up. Lower rotating mass means the brakes have less of their own inertia to manage, which sharpens response and eases the load on steering and suspension. The kit is a front-axle assembly, the end of the car that does the majority of the stopping work on a front-biased AWD estate. Pad compound is a buyer choice across Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware can be specified for relaxed road use or for harder, hotter driving. Included paint colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange offered as upgrades. A Hollow Racing caliper, run without a dust cover and rated to 1000C with a two-year warranty, is available for serious track use. The finish is purely cosmetic and the engineering is identical across the range.
Fitment for the Volkswagen Passat B9 Variant 4WD (2023-2026)
This kit is the front-axle fitment for the Volkswagen Passat B9 Variant 4WD built from 2023 to 2026, the current-generation 4MOTION estate. It is a front-position kit, so it works alongside your existing rear brakes rather than replacing the full system. Confirm your exact build year when you order. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and centre bells can be upgraded to two-tone in five anodized colours or titanium at checkout.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
