Caliper render for this kit:

The Arteon 3H7 hides its mass well. At close to five metres long, with the weight of a grand tourer carried over a nose-heavy MQB layout, VW’s fastback leans on its brakes harder than its sleek profile lets on, and the factory rear setup is sized for everyday road use, not repeated heavy stops from autobahn speeds. This XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Volkswagen Arteon (3H7) targets the back axle specifically, where a big, fast liftback needs braking balance and fade resistance as much as outright bite.
Fitted to the rear, the kit works with the car’s front-biased weight distribution rather than fighting it, restoring the stopping balance that a heavier-than-it-looks fastback tends to lose on a long descent or a sustained high-speed haul. You pick the friction material to match how the car is actually used, from quiet road duty up to a full Racing compound.
What this brake kit does for your 2017-2026 Volkswagen Arteon
After fitting, the most obvious gain on a car this size is rear-end stability under hard braking: a stronger, more consistent rear clamp keeps the long body settled instead of pitching forward onto its nose. The three pad compound choices let you set rear bite to suit the car. Street keeps things quiet and low-dust day to day, Sport adds fast-road bite with the heat range for occasional track and high-speed work, and Racing holds up under sustained abuse, so the pedal feels the same on the tenth stop as the first. The two-piece floating disc and its hollow-vane core trim rotating and unsprung mass at the rear axle, which the Arteon’s softly sprung tail notices over poor surfaces. And because the kit fits behind the wheel, the caliper finish you choose changes the look of the car the moment it is on the ground, with Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black included at no extra cost and premium polished-forged, candy and custom Pantone options on top.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
This is a rear big brake upgrade built around XYZ Racing’s two-piece floating disc, vented through a hollow-vane core that lightens the rotor to cut rotating mass without giving up thermal capacity. The kit is supplied with a choice of three pad compounds, Street for quiet road use, Sport for fast-road and spirited driving, and a Racing material for harder, sustained braking, so the same hardware can be specified for very different driving. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for harder use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Caliper finishes run from the included Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black through premium polished-forged and candy options to any Pantone as a custom colour, and faces can be drilled or slotted at the same price. Engineered for the rear axle of a heavy, front-biased performance fastback, the focus here is consistent clamp and heat management at the end of the car that the factory treats as secondary, rather than headline numbers alone. It is a considered upgrade for an Arteon driven the way it was built to be driven.
Fitment for the Volkswagen Arteon (2017-2026)
This kit is a direct fit for the Volkswagen Arteon 3H7 chassis across the full 2017 to 2026 model run, and is supplied for the rear axle as a left-and-right pair. Pad compound and caliper colour are selected when you order. Confirm your chassis code and build year before ordering to make sure the rear specification matches your car.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
