Caliper render for this kit:

The ST205 GT4 carries its weight differently to a front-drive Celica. With the full-time four-wheel-drive hardware, centre coupling and rear differential sitting over the back axle, the rear brakes on Toyota’s WRC homologation car have real mass to arrest, and the factory rear setup was specified for a 1990s road car, not for repeated hard stops on a B-road or a track day. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Celica ST205 GT4 (1994-1999) addresses that imbalance directly.
This is a rear-axle upgrade built to sit behind a larger front setup and keep the back of the car composed when you load the brakes. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, with three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, you can match the kit to how the GT4 is actually used, from road miles to circuit sessions.
What this brake kit does for your 1994-1999 Toyota Celica ST205 GT4
On a 3S-GTE-powered GT4, the rear axle does more braking work than owners expect, and a tired factory rear end is what makes the car feel nervous as you trail the brakes into a corner. Fitting this rear kit restores bite and consistency at the back, so the chassis settles rather than fidgets under load. The Racing compound gives you the heat tolerance for repeat stops on track, while the Street compound keeps cold bite sharp and dust down for daily driving, and the Sport pad sits between them for fast-road use. Because the GT4’s four-wheel-drive system leans on stable front-to-rear brake balance, a fresh and predictable rear end makes the whole car easier to place. The two-piece floating disc also drops unsprung mass at each rear corner, so the dampers keep the tyres planted.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The Hollow Rear Brake Kit is a rear-axle setup designed for the ST205 chassis rather than adapted from a generic fitment. The name points to the hollow-vane disc, the aim being to add braking capacity without loading unsprung mass onto the back of the car. The disc is two-piece and floating, with a lighter alloy bell, and the caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty for the hardest use.
It is supplied with a choice of three pad compounds: a Street compound for low-dust road manners and sharp cold bite, a Sport compound for fast-road driving, and a Racing compound built to hold temperature under sustained use. The caliper is offered in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged finishes in titanium, polished gold or polished silver, and candy finishes in teal, blue, red or orange, so the kit suits a period-correct restoration or a modern show build equally. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be upgraded to two-tone anodized in five colours or titanium. As a rear kit it is intended to run alongside a matched front setup, keeping overall brake balance where the GT4’s drivetrain expects it.
Fitment for the Toyota CELICA ST205 GT4 (1994-1999)
This kit fits the Toyota Celica ST205 GT4 produced from 1994 to 1999, the turbocharged, four-wheel-drive GT4, not the front-drive ST202 and ST204 cars. It is supplied as a matched left-and-right pair. Confirm your car is the ST205 GT4 before ordering, as the rear hardware is specific to this platform. Pad compound, disc style and caliper colour are chosen at checkout.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
