Caliper render for this kit:

The front-wheel-drive Celica ST202 puts the bulk of its braking effort over the nose, and on repeated hard stops the standard rear discs contribute very little once heat builds into the system. That leaves the front axle doing nearly all the work and cooking itself by the third or fourth corner. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Celica ST202 (1993-1999) restores that missing rear contribution, giving the chassis a more balanced front-to-rear bias when you lean on the pedal.
This is a rear-axle upgrade aimed at owners who actually use their 3S-GE Celica on track days and fast B-roads, not at concours shelf-queens. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, with three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, the same kit scales from a daily-friendly rear end to a circuit setup that keeps biting deep into a session.
What this brake kit does for your 1993-1999 Toyota Celica ST202
The first thing you feel after fitting is a firmer, more progressive pedal that does not go long after a run of heavy stops. The added rear thermal capacity keeps the car’s bias stable, so the tail stays settled on the way into a corner instead of the fronts locking early and washing the nose wide. The two-piece floating disc trims rotating and unsprung weight at each rear corner, which helps the rear suspension follow surface changes and sharpens turn-in on a quick road. Run the Racing compound and the rear axle holds its bite through a hot track session; the Street pad gives strong cold performance for everyday driving, with the Sport compound bridging the two for fast-road use.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a rear big brake kit specifically for the Celica ST202, pairing a hollow-vane disc with a matched caliper and pad package sized to the car’s rear hub. The hollow-vane rotor is the headline detail: material is removed from inside the disc to lower rotating and unsprung mass while keeping the swept area needed to shed heat. The disc is two-piece and floating, with a lighter alloy bell, and the caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade that loses the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty for circuit use.
Three pad compounds are offered: Street for stock-feel road use and low dust, Sport for harder fast-road driving, and Racing for circuit work where fade resistance matters more than cold bite. Calipers can be specified in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged finishes in titanium, polished gold or polished silver, and candy finishes in teal, blue, red or orange, so the kit suits the car behind the arch. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be upgraded to two-tone anodized in five colours or titanium. As a rear-axle kit it is engineered to work alongside, and balance, an uprated front setup.
Fitment for the Toyota Celica ST202 (1993-1999)
This kit is cut for the ST202 chassis Celica produced between 1993 and 1999 and fits the rear axle only, supplied as a matched left-and-right pair. It targets the front-wheel-drive ST202 specifically, not the four-wheel-drive ST205 GT-Four, so confirm your chassis code before ordering. Check your existing rear hub and disc arrangement against the kit specification to be certain of a direct fit.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
