Caliper render for this kit:

The XV40 Camry carries most of its mass over the front axle, and Toyota sized the standard rear brakes to match: modest discs doing comfortable duty behind a saloon that tips past 1,500kg. Work the 2.4 hard down a B-road, or lean on the 268bhp 3.5 V6, and the rear axle’s small contribution to stopping becomes the part of the system that gives up first.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Camry XV40 2.4/ 3.5 (2007-2011) is built to correct that imbalance. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, it puts a larger, lighter rear disc and a fixed caliper where the factory fitted a sliding setup, restoring the front-to-rear bias a heavy front-drive saloon needs once you start asking more of it.
What this brake kit does for your 2007-2011 Toyota Camry XV40 2.4/ 3.5
On the road you feel it as a firmer, more linear pedal and a rear axle that actually shares the work under hard braking, which settles the car on turn-in instead of letting the nose dive and run wide. The two-piece floating disc sheds unsprung weight at each rear corner, so the suspension tracks bumps more cleanly mid-corner. Three pad compounds let you set the rear bite to suit: Street for a daily V6 commute, Sport for fast-road driving and the occasional track day, and Racing for a car that sees harder circuit abuse without cooking the pads on a long descent. Repeated heavy stops in a 1,500kg-plus saloon generate real heat, and a kit this size simply has more thermal mass to absorb it before fade creeps in.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The "Hollow" name refers to the disc construction: a hollow-vane rotor that vents heat from the pad face while cutting rotating and unsprung mass, which is exactly what a nose-heavy car wants at the rear. The disc is two-piece and floating, with a lighter alloy bell, and it pairs with a fixed multi-piston caliper for even pad loading and a stiffer, more consistent pedal than the factory single-piston slider can offer. The caliper body is hollow as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty for the hardest use.
Pad compound is specified at checkout: Street for stock-feel road use and low dust, Sport for harder fast-road driving, and Racing for circuit and track-day heat. Included caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged finishes in titanium, polished gold or polished silver, and candy finishes in teal, blue, red or orange. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be upgraded to two-tone anodized in five colours or titanium. The whole assembly is designed as a direct fitment for the XV40 platform rather than a universal bracket-and-hope solution.
Fitment for the Toyota Camry XV40 2.4/ 3.5 (2007-2011)
This rear kit is specified for the XV40-generation Toyota Camry in both 2.4 four-cylinder and 3.5 V6 forms, across the 2007 to 2011 model years, and is supplied as a matched left-and-right pair. It mounts to the rear axle in place of the factory disc and caliper. Confirm your exact model year and engine against the XV40 listing before ordering so the disc diameter and caliper bracket match your car.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
