Caliper render for this kit:

Load a third-generation 5008 with seven up and a boot packed for a family holiday, then hold it down a long motorway gradient, and the rear axle ends up doing more braking work than the showroom spec sheet lets on. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Peugeot 5008 (P67) addresses exactly that – the rear-end heat soak and the spongy, fading pedal that a heavy, tall EMP2-platform seven-seater throws up once the standard pads have had a hard run.
This is a rear-axle big brake kit – a matched pair of left and right calipers and two uprated discs – aimed at owners who actually use the car’s capacity: school runs and motorway miles, towing, and the occasional fully laden long-distance haul where the brakes never get a chance to cool. It is built around a hollow-vane disc design to keep rotating mass in check, and it ships with a choice of pad compound and caliper finish so the setup matches how the car is driven.
What this brake kit does for your 2024-2026 Peugeot 5008 (P67)
The clearest gain is rear-axle thermal headroom. A 5008 this size carries real mass over the back wheels – more still on the electrified e-5008 – and the hollow-vane disc helps shed heat faster between stops, so the pedal stays firm on repeat braking instead of going long. The three pad compounds let you set the bite to the use case: the Street pad keeps everyday refinement and low dust for the daily commute, the Sport compound adds heat tolerance for spirited driving and towing, and the Racing compound is there for the heaviest, hottest work. Better rear balance also means the front axle stops carrying the whole load, which steadies the car under hard stops with a full cabin. The included caliper colours – Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black – finish the look behind the wheel, with premium finishes available too.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The kit is a rear-specific brake package engineered for the third-generation Peugeot 5008, not a generic disc swap. The hollow-vane disc construction is the headline: removing material from the disc reduces rotating and unsprung mass while opening up internal pathways that move heat away from the friction surface, which is what keeps a heavy SUV’s rear brakes consistent under sustained load. The rotors are two-piece floating discs run on braided lines, keeping the face flat and the pedal firm. Fitment is matched to the P67 chassis so the caliper and disc work with the factory hub and hardware. Buyers choose one of three pad compounds – Street, Sport or Racing – to suit road, mixed or hard-use driving, and pick a caliper finish. Calipers are hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated 1000C, two-year warranty) for serious track use. Painted colours are included free in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black; a Custom Color in any Pantone adds £150, with premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange finishes available. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable at checkout. Because the compounds change the brake’s character significantly, it is worth being honest about how the car is used before selecting, rather than defaulting to the most aggressive option.
Fitment for the Peugeot 5008 (P67) (2024-2026)
This kit is built for the third-generation Peugeot 5008 on the P67 chassis, model years 2024 to 2026, and fits the rear axle only. It is matched to the factory rear brake setup for this generation, so confirm your car is the current P67 5008 rather than the earlier model before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
