Caliper render for this kit:

The R34 GTT left the factory in the GT-R’s shadow, and nowhere is that clearer than at the back axle. Nissan kept the four-pot Brembos for the GT-R; the rear-drive GTT made do with smaller rear discs that were never sized for the loads a tuned RB25DET now puts through them. This XYZ Racing Hollow rear brake kit for the Nissan Skyline R34 GTT 2WD closes that gap.
Built for repeat heavy stops, track sessions, fast-road blasts and the long brake zone at the end of a fourth-gear straight, it pairs hollow-vane two-piece floating discs with a hollow-body caliper to put more consistent clamping behind the rear wheels. Supplied as a matched pair of left and right rear calipers and discs, it brings a sharper and more predictable rear end to a chassis that likes to rotate under braking.
What this big brake kit does for your 1999-2002 Nissan Skyline R34 GTT 2WD
On a rear-drive R34 the back brakes do more work than owners expect: lift-off and trail-braking shift load rearward, and a drift entry leans on them hard. The hollow-vane disc design strips rotating and unsprung mass from the rear axle, so the wheels track surface changes more cleanly and the discs shed heat faster between stops, while the two-piece floating construction lets the rotor expand evenly under load instead of coning. Three pad compounds let you match the kit to how the car is actually used: Street is the quiet, low-dust road default, Sport adds bite and heat range for harder fast-road and light track work, and Racing handles sustained circuit abuse. The payoff is a firmer pedal, less fade once the discs heat-soak, and a rear axle you can keep leaning on instead of one that goes wooden mid-session.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a rear-specific upgrade rather than a one-size axle set. The headline is the disc: a vented two-piece floating rotor with hollow internal vanes that cut rotating mass while keeping the swept area and airflow needed to manage heat under sustained braking. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, with a two-tone centre bell in five anodized colours or titanium selectable at checkout. The caliper mounts to the R34 rear on a supplied bracket and runs three selectable pad compounds: Street for road use, Sport for harder fast-road and light track work, and Racing for sustained circuit abuse. Included caliper finishes at no extra cost are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy options in Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. A Hollow Racing caliper is available for serious track use, running no dust cover, rated to 1000C and backed by a two-year warranty. Every part is sized for the rear of the GTT, not adapted from a generic fitment.
Fitment for the Nissan Skyline R34 GTT 2WD (1999-2002)
This kit fits the rear axle of the Nissan Skyline R34 GTT 2WD across the 1999-2002 production run, the rear-wheel-drive, RB25DET turbo variant, not the four-wheel-drive GT-R. It is a rear-only kit, so it pairs with a matching front setup or works as a targeted fix for the GTT’s weaker standard rear brakes. Confirm your caliper colour, disc style and pad compound in the buy options above when you order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
