Caliper render for this kit:

The Eclipse Cross carries its mass high and well forward, so under hard braking the rear axle does comparatively little of the work, which is exactly why the factory rear discs tend to glaze and lose bite long before the fronts ever feel stressed. This XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (2018-2026) rebalances that equation, giving the back axle the thermal headroom to keep contributing on long descents and repeated stops.
It is a single rear-axle kit, a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, aimed at owners running a loaded crossover (kids, gear, the occasional trailer) who want the brakes to stay consistent rather than turn wooden after a quick B-road or a long alpine descent. With three pad compounds and a full range of caliper finishes, you build the rear end to match how the car is actually used.
What this brake kit does for your 2018-2026 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
On a crossover this nose-heavy, a stronger rear setup pays back as pedal consistency rather than headline stopping distance. The hollow-vane disc construction reduces rotational and unsprung mass at the rear and helps the rotor shed heat, so the back axle stops glazing on the downhill stretches where a heavy Eclipse Cross usually fades first. Fit the Street compound and you keep daily, school-run friendly cold bite; Sport sharpens response for fast-road work; step up to the Racing compound and the rears hold temperature through harder, repeated use without the soft pedal you get from worn OE pads. The net effect is a car that settles flatter under braking and tracks straighter, because the front discs are no longer carrying almost all of the load.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit takes its name from XYZ Racing’s hollow-vane disc design, which trims weight at the rear axle without giving up the swept area a 1.5-tonne crossover needs. It is supplied as a complete rear-axle kit: two-piece floating discs, hollow-bodied calipers and pads engineered to work as a matched set rather than mixing OE and aftermarket parts. Three pad compounds cover the spread of use: a Street compound for refined daily duty, a Sport compound for fast-road work, and a Racing compound for owners pushing the car hardest. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells when you order. Calipers come in the included no-cost colours, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange finishes, so the rear reads as a deliberate choice behind an open wheel. The whole package exists to restore rear braking authority on a platform that, from the factory, leans heavily on its front axle.
Fitment for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (2018-2026)
This kit is cut for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross across the full 2018-2026 run, covering both the original car and the 2021 facelift. It fits the rear axle specifically and is sold for that position only. Confirm your exact variant using the options above, as the Eclipse Cross shipped in front-wheel-drive, S-AWC all-wheel-drive and later plug-in hybrid forms.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
