Caliper render for this kit:

The W221 S 63 AMG is something of a contradiction: a car that tips the scales at more than two tonnes yet covers 0-62 mph in under 4.5 seconds, courtesy of the 6.2-litre naturally aspirated M156 V8 producing north of 510 bhp. That combination places demands on the front braking system that few luxury saloons ever have to meet. On a long Alpine descent, a spirited mountain pass, or a track-day session, the factory front hardware was never engineered to shed that volume of heat repeatedly without fade creeping into the pedal.
The XYZ Racing front brake kit answers the W221 S 63 AMG’s weight-to-performance equation directly. It is a single-axle kit: a matched pair of front calipers and two-piece floating discs for the left and right front corners, where thermal loading concentrates hardest under heavy braking. The hollow-vane disc keeps temperatures inside a range where the pad compound can work predictably, and three compound grades let you configure the same kit from daily commuting through to committed circuit use.
What this brake kit does for your 2005-2013 Mercedes Benz S CLASS W221 S 63 AMG
Two tonnes of AMG-engined prestige saloon carries enormous kinetic energy at speed, and all of it has to become heat at the front axle. The hollow-vane disc draws air through the rotor body as the wheel turns, pulling heat off the friction face faster than a solid casting and holding the discs in their working window across consecutive heavy stops. The two-piece floating disc rides on an alloy centre bell that cuts both unsprung and rotating mass, so the front end recovers composure faster and steering response stays crisp. Three pad compounds let you match the kit to how the car is actually driven: Street is the quiet, low-dust road default; Sport adds bite and heat range for fast-road work with the odd track day; Racing is a full circuit compound. Braided stainless lines firm up the pedal and keep it consistent as temperatures climb, which matters most when the S 63’s output is being used as the rev counter suggests.
About the Big Brake Kit
The caliper is forged and hollow-bodied as standard, machined to clamp the larger front disc without flex, and it ships in your choice of painted finish at no extra cost: Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, or Anodized Black. For a colour outside that palette there is a Custom Color option matched to any Pantone reference for £150. Owners after a showpiece finish can step up to the polished-forged options, Titanium, Polished Gold, or Polished Silver, or one of the candy finishes in Teal, Blue, Red, or Orange. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone centre bells available in five anodized colours or titanium, all selectable when you order. For sustained track abuse there is an optional Hollow Racing upgrade, which drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Every configuration runs the same three pad compounds, so the S 63’s front axle gets the headroom to cope when the car is braked hard from high speed, again and again.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
