Caliper render for this kit:

The GLE 450 4 MATIC tips the scales past 2.2 tonnes and delivers its 367 bhp through a 48-volt mild-hybrid M256 inline-six, a combination that asks a great deal of the V167’s front axle under repeated hard braking. Factory stoppers on this platform are calibrated around comfort-first priorities; drivers who push the SUV’s pace on fast roads or mountain descents frequently find consistency of bite and pedal feel under sustained load leaves room for improvement.
This XYZ Racing front brake kit addresses that gap on the Mercedes Benz GLE 450 4 MATIC V167, fitting the front axle as a pair of discs and calipers with selectable pad compounds and a full caliper colour range, sized around the weight and power characteristics of the 450-spec chassis. It is built for buyers who want stopping capacity to properly match what the drivetrain puts down.
What this brake kit does for your 2019-2026 Mercedes Benz GLE 450 4 MATIC
The 4MATIC drivetrain concentrates braking demand at the front axle during hard deceleration, and in a chassis carrying the GLE’s kerb weight that loading is substantial. Two-piece floating disc construction reduces disc mass at each corner without surrendering thermal capacity, translating to more stable pedal feedback across back-to-back stops from motorway speeds, while the hollow-vane geometry evacuates heat and the floating ring expands without warping. Choosing Sport over the Street spec lifts initial bite and response for committed fast-road use; Racing adds thermal headroom for track-day sessions where the GLE 450’s mass keeps brake temperatures elevated across long straights; Street stays quiet and low-dust for daily duty. Discs are offered drilled or slotted at the same price. Caliper colour options, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a custom Pantone match and premium polished-forged or candy finishes, let the installation sit properly against the V167’s larger alloys.
About the brake kit
This kit is designed for vehicles where OEM front-brake hardware is adequate for everyday use but undersized for more demanding inputs. The two-piece floating disc reduces rotating and unsprung mass and improves heat management simultaneously, two properties that matter particularly on a vehicle of the GLE 450’s weight class, where thermal load on the front axle during repeated hard stops is meaningfully higher than on lighter platforms. The caliper is a hollow-body forging as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing caliper, no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty, for harder use. Three pad compounds are available: Street for mixed daily and motorway driving, Sport for fast-road and spirited use, and Racing for circuit-day applications. Braided lines firm the pedal, and caliper finish runs to Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black plus a custom Pantone match, with centre bell upgrades in five anodized colours or titanium selectable at checkout, so the visual result integrates with whatever wheel specification and colour scheme the V167 is running.
Fitment for the Mercedes Benz GLE 450 4 MATIC (2019-2026)
This front brake kit covers the Mercedes Benz GLE 450 4 MATIC in V167 body generation, across the full production span from 2019 to 2026. It is a front-axle fitment; where a balanced upgrade across both axles is required, pairing with a matched XYZ Racing rear kit is the logical next step.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
