Caliper render for this kit:

The C257 CLS 53 AMG carries close to 1.9 tonnes of four-door coupé over its rear axle, and the M256 straight-six with EQ Boost gives it the pace to use it. The XYZ Racing rear big brake kit replaces the factory rear setup with two-piece floating discs that cut rotating mass at the back wheels, where a long-wheelbase 4MATIC+ car needs steady, repeatable retardation rather than one heroic stop.
This is the rear half of a serious braking package for fast-road and circuit use. A larger, two-piece floating rotor and matched caliper give the back axle more thermal headroom, so the pedal stays consistent when the front brakes are loaded and the car’s mass is piling forward under heavy braking.
What this big brake kit does for your 2018-2026 Mercedes Benz CLS 53 AMG C257
On a 2018-2026 CLS 53 the change shows up first as a firmer initial bite and a pedal that does not go long after a run of hard stops. The two-piece floating disc sheds rotating mass at the rear wheels, sharpening how quickly the back axle responds and trimming a little unsprung weight from each corner. Three pad compounds let you set the kit to the car’s job: Street for everyday town and motorway miles, Sport for hard fast-road driving and the odd track day, and Racing for track sessions where the rear discs see sustained heat. Because the rear does meaningful work under heavy deceleration on a nose-heavy 4MATIC+ GT, a stronger back axle helps settle the car as weight transfers forward, holding the line straighter into a braking zone.
About the XYZ Racing hollow brake kit
This is a rear big brake upgrade built around a two-piece floating disc, a construction that removes material from the rotor to lower rotating and unsprung mass without giving up swept area and lets the friction ring float on an alloy bell as it heats. The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard. The larger rear rotor and its matched caliper raise thermal capacity, which is what keeps brake feel stable across repeated stops rather than letting the pads and fluid heat-soak into fade. Pad compound is a build choice: Street, Sport and Racing options cover everything from daily commuting to track-day duty, so one set of hardware suits a road-biased CLS or a car that sees regular circuit time. Painted calipers are offered in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for a small upcharge and premium polished-forged or candy finishes, so the kit reads as a deliberate spec behind the wheels rather than a plain replacement. It is engineered as the rear element of a balanced front-and-rear system for cars running the OE electronic damping setup.
Fitment for the Mercedes Benz CLS 53 AMG C257 (2018-2026)
This kit fits the Mercedes Benz CLS 53 AMG C257 across the 2018-2026 model years, in the variant specified for cars built with the OE electronic damping cancellation arrangement. Confirm your car is the C257 53 AMG and that it carries the factory electronic damping hardware before you order, so the rear kit matches your exact build.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
