Caliper render for this kit:

The W204 C 300 4MATIC is a heavy executive saloon that carries its all-wheel-drive hardware over the front axle, and Mercedes specified the rear brakes for comfortable road use rather than sustained heat. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit addresses that directly, fitting larger, lighter two-piece floating discs with hollow vanes and an upgraded caliper to the back of the car so the rear axle pulls its weight when you start braking hard from speed.
This is the rear half of a balanced upgrade, supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and discs, for owners running the C 300 4MATIC beyond its everyday brief – quick A-road work, the occasional track day, or simply restoring confident stopping to a car that weighs the better part of 1.7 tonnes. Pad compound choices run from Street through Sport to Racing, so the kit suits a daily driver as readily as one that sees circuit time.
What this brake kit does for your 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz C Class W204 C 300 4matic
The first change you feel on the W204 is brake feel under repeated stops. The larger rear discs add thermal mass, so the pedal stays firm where the factory rear setup would start to go long and soft as heat built. On a 4MATIC saloon that already sits nose-heavy, sharpening rear braking helps the car stay settled and square under hard deceleration rather than diving onto its front axle. The Street, Sport and Racing pad compounds let you match bite and temperature range to how you actually drive – quiet, low-dust and progressive for the commute, with Sport for fast road and Racing for fade-resistant track sessions. Included caliper finishes, from Red through Gold to Anodized Black at no extra cost, mean the look behind the wheel matches the mechanical change.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit takes its name from the disc design: a two-piece floating rotor with hollow vanes that trim rotating and unsprung mass without giving up the heat capacity that comes with a larger disc. Less rotating mass at the rear axle means the wheels speed up and slow down with slightly less inertia, which the W204’s chassis reads as crisper response. The kit pairs those discs with an upgraded caliper, hollow-body as standard, that clamps the pad more evenly than the sliding factory unit, spreading load across the friction face and keeping wear consistent; a Hollow Racing upgrade – dust-cover-free, rated to 1000C, with a two-year warranty – is offered for hard track use. Pads come in three compounds – Street, Sport and Racing – covering everything from refined daily stopping to repeated high-temperature braking. Included caliper finishes span Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, plus premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium selectable at checkout. It is built as a rear-axle kit, intended to work alongside an equivalent front upgrade for a balanced car.
Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C Class W204 C 300 4matic (2007-2014)
This kit is cut specifically for the W204-generation C-Class in C 300 4MATIC trim, covering the 2007 to 2014 model years. It mounts to the rear axle and is matched to that chassis and drivetrain, so confirm your car is the 4MATIC W204 C 300 rather than a rear-drive or different-engine W204 before ordering. No fitment details are assumed beyond the W204 platform and the model years listed.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
