Caliper render for this kit:

The Luxgen S5’s front-wheel-drive layout puts the highest thermal load on the leading axle; these are the brakes that steer, drive and stop the car simultaneously. At the performance end of the range, a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine feeding its power through the front wheels means repeated hard applications, particularly on mountain roads or circuit days, will bring standard brake components to their thermal limits faster than a rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive equivalent.
The XYZ Racing front big brake kit addresses that directly. Designed to fit the Luxgen S5 across the full 2012-2026 production span, it is a single-axle upgrade: a matched left-and-right pair of front calipers and two-piece floating discs with braided lines. It increases swept area, reduces fade under repeat braking, and gives S5 owners a compound choice that spans daily use through to full circuit work, all in a direct-fit package requiring no structural modification to the front end.
What this brake kit does for your 2012-2026 Luxgen S5
The larger-diameter two-piece floating disc, with its hollow-vane friction ring, transfers heat away from the friction surface more efficiently than the OEM equivalent, keeping pedal travel and bite consistent across consecutive hard stops. On a front-wheel-drive car like the S5, where the nose loads up heavily under braking and determines where you can position the car before a corner, stable pedal feel is not an abstraction: it changes where you can brake and how late you can leave it. Three pad compounds span the usage spectrum: Street, the quiet, low-dust pad for mixed commuting and light spirited use, Sport for drivers who run regular fast-road sessions, and Racing for the elevated temperatures a track-day heat cycle generates without glazing or fade creep. Painted caliper colours, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, let the visual upgrade match the car’s existing aesthetic or stand out on its own terms.
About the front big brake kit
The two-piece floating disc reduces unsprung and rotating mass at the front corner through a hollow-vane friction ring, compared with a solid cast disc of equivalent external diameter, while accelerating thermal dissipation. For an axle carrying both drive and braking duties, reducing that unsprung weight has a measurable effect on steering response and ride compliance over broken surfaces. The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard; for the hardest sustained use you can step up to the Hollow Racing caliper, which loses the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. The kit is a direct-fit assembly for the Luxgen S5, using the OE caliper mounting geometry without cutting or modification to the front knuckle. Pad compound, Street, Sport or Racing, is configured at order, so the brake system arrives matched to the owner’s driving pattern from day one. Painted caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with any Pantone available as a Custom Color for £150, premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy finishes in Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with a centre-bell upgrade to a two-tone anodized finish in five colours or to titanium at checkout.
Fitment for the Luxgen S5 (2012-2026)
This kit covers the Luxgen S5 across its full production window from 2012 to 2026, spanning all engine variants offered in that period, and fits the front axle as a left-and-right pair. The big brake assembly requires adequate wheel-to-caliper clearance; confirm your front wheel diameter and inner rim profile before ordering. No structural alteration to the front subframe, knuckle or wheel arch is required for installation.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
