Caliper render for this kit:

The XU30 RX 330’s car-based unibody platform makes it more planted through a fast bend than most SUVs of its era, but close to two tonnes of premium Lexus still imposes serious thermal demands on the front brakes. Factory calipers are calibrated for smooth, progressive stops from motorway pace, competent in everyday use but the first to show fade on a sustained descent or during repeated hard stops from higher speeds.
The XYZ Racing front big brake kit serves the RX 330 as both a refined daily driver and something more demanding. It is a single-axle upgrade: a matched left-and-right pair of front calipers and two-piece floating discs with braided lines. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, cover the full usage range; painted caliper colours let owners personalise the most visible part of the brake assembly.
What this brake kit does for your 2003-2008 Lexus RX 330 (XU30)
The XU30’s MacPherson strut front end keeps the geometry simple but does nothing to reduce the thermal burden on the friction surfaces when the car is driven hard. The larger, better-ventilated two-piece floating disc, with its hollow-vane friction ring, pulls heat away faster at the corners that carry the bulk of the deceleration load. The Racing pad holds its coefficient of friction at temperatures that would see standard OEM material fading to a spongy pedal; the Sport pad adds meaningful bite over the factory friction without the cold-bite penalty that stops a full Racing pad from being civil in traffic; Street stays quiet and low-dust for daily running. Painted caliper finishes in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost sit visibly through most factory alloys, turning a mechanical upgrade into an aesthetic statement at the same time.
About the front big brake kit
Named for its hollow-vane two-piece discs, this kit removes material from between the swept faces in a structured pattern, increasing the surface area exposed to airflow and accelerating heat dissipation compared with a conventional cast or solid disc. For a heavy SUV like the XU30, that faster thermal recovery matters on any route where the brakes work repeatedly: a sustained alpine descent, a fast B-road run, or a driver day where stopping from high speed becomes routine. The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard; for the most demanding use you can step up to the Hollow Racing caliper, which loses the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds cover the range from daily use through to sustained performance driving, with Racing available for owners who want maximum fade resistance. Painted caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with any Pantone available as a Custom Color for £150, premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy finishes in Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with a centre-bell upgrade to a two-tone anodized finish in five colours or to titanium at checkout.
Fitment for the Lexus RX 330 (XU30) (2003-2008)
This kit is specified for the Lexus RX 330 in XU30 form, covering the full production run from 2003 through to 2008, and fits the front axle as a left-and-right pair. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants of the XU30 share the same front suspension geometry and caliper mounting, making both eligible. Confirm your chassis code and model year before configuring.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
