Caliper render for this kit:

The RC 300 carries serious mass for a coupe, well over 1,600kg of refined Lexus GT, and that weight has to be hauled down at the rear axle just as hard as it is at the front. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Lexus RC 300 (2014-2017) gives the back end the thermal headroom and bite that the factory setup runs short of once you start leaning on it.
This is a rear-axle upgrade aimed at owners who use the car hard on fast roads or the occasional track day, where repeat heavy stops expose the standard rear brakes. The two-piece floating discs shed rotational weight while feeding cooling air through the rotor, and the kit pairs with your choice of pad compound to match how you actually drive the car.
What this brake kit does for your 2014-2017 Lexus RC 300
On a car as heavy as the RC 300, the rear brakes do quieter but vital work: managing weight transfer, settling the chassis into a corner, and sharing the thermal load on long descents. Upgrade them and the whole car brakes with more composure: less rear fade after a sequence of hard stops, a firmer and more predictable pedal, and a balance that no longer leans entirely on the fronts. The two-piece floating disc trims rotational and unsprung mass at the back axle, which the RC’s softly sprung rear end can genuinely feel. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you set rear bite for daily refinement, fast-road bite or sustained track heat, and painted caliper finishes in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black mean the hardware looks right behind the wheels.
About the rear big brake kit
XYZ Racing’s rear big brake kit is built around two-piece floating discs, a design that reduces rotational inertia and helps the brake shed heat faster than a solid equivalent. It is engineered as a direct-fit rear-axle package for the RC 300, pairing the discs with XYZ’s calipers and the pads and hardware needed to bolt it on. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing caliper for serious track use that removes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Pad compound is a configurable choice across three grades: Street for road use, Sport for harder fast-road work with extra heat range, and Racing for track sessions where the rear brakes see sustained temperature. Caliper colour is equally open, with painted Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no cost, premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange, or a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bell upgrades at checkout. It is a focused rear upgrade, supplied as a pair, designed to complement a front big brake setup and bring the RC 300’s braking balance up to match its considerable kerb weight.
Fitment for the Lexus RC 300 (2014-2017)
This kit is a rear-axle fit for the Lexus RC 300 across the 2014 to 2017 model years. It is a rear-position big brake kit supplied as a pair, built to work alongside the standard or upgraded front brakes rather than replace them. Confirm your build year falls within the 2014-2017 span before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
