Caliper render for this kit:

The XE30 IS 300h carries more kerb weight than any petrol IS variant: the hybrid battery pack, power control unit and motor generator add real mass over the equivalent non-hybrid chassis. That weight exposes a specific braking characteristic. Regenerative braking handles gentle deceleration with confidence, but at the speeds and pressures of a track day or sustained fast-road driving the regen system saturates and the friction brakes absorb the rest alone. The OEM front setup, a pair of modest sliding-caliper units sized for comfortable everyday use, was never designed for that abrupt shift in duty.
The XYZ Racing front big brake kit gives the IS 300h front axle the hardware the factory fit left out. It is a single-axle kit: a matched left-and-right pair of front calipers and two-piece floating discs with braided lines. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, mean the same kit serves a daily driver or a committed circuit car without a change of hardware.
What this brake kit does for your 2013-2026 Lexus IS 300h (XE30)
Upgrading the front calipers resolves the IS 300h’s most consistent complaint from owners who run the XE30 on circuit: OEM pedal feel turns vague and the bite point migrates once the friction brakes accumulate heat after sustained heavy use. The kit’s larger swept area and hollow-vane disc increase the thermal capacity available to the front axle, giving the brakes more headroom before fade sets in. The Sport compound extends the usable operating range for owners pushing the IS 300h on fast A-roads and track-day entry roads; the Racing compound is built for full circuit sessions, where the friction material needs to build grip as temperatures climb rather than release it. Street is the quiet, low-dust default for daily use. Calipers come painted in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, sitting cleanly behind OEM or aftermarket wheels.
About the front big brake kit
The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard, the baseline across the whole kit. For owners who want a genuine step beyond OEM without moving to a full monoblock setup, that baseline already delivers a larger swept area and meaningfully more clamping force to the XE30 front axle, directly addressing the heat-soak sensitivity that limits the standard setup on the heavier hybrid. Serious track users can step up to the Hollow Racing caliper, which loses the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. The three pad compounds let a single hardware install serve different use cases through a pad swap rather than separate kits. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price; the centre bell can be upgraded to a two-tone anodized finish in five colours or to titanium at checkout. Beyond the five included caliper colours you can specify any Pantone as a Custom Color for £150, or choose a premium polished-forged finish in Titanium, Polished Gold or Polished Silver, or a candy finish in Teal, Blue, Red or Orange.
Fitment for the Lexus IS 300h (XE30) (2013-2026)
This kit is built for the XE30-generation IS 300h, covering the full production run from 2013 through 2026, and fits the front axle as a left-and-right pair. The XE30 designation distinguishes the third-generation IS from the earlier XE20 platform; confirm your chassis code before ordering, as the caliper bracket and disc sizing are specific to the XE30 front upright geometry. The kit is listed for the IS 300h hybrid variant; if you run a petrol IS 200t, IS 250 or IS 300 on the XE30 chassis, verify which brake fitment applies to your powertrain before proceeding.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
