Caliper render for this kit:

The XE30 IS 250’s rear axle was tuned for refined road manners behind a smooth 2.5-litre V6, not for the heat a track session or a hard B-road descent pours into the back brakes. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Lexus IS 250 (XE30) targets exactly that gap, adding rear thermal capacity and bite to a rear-drive saloon that always had more chassis than its factory stoppers were asked to use.
This is a rear-specific big brake kit, built either to balance an uprated front setup or simply to stop the standard rears cooking under repeated heavy use. Two-piece floating discs with a vaned hollow core trim rotating and unsprung mass, while three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you match the kit to how hard the car actually gets driven.
What this brake kit does for your 2013-2015 Lexus IS 250 (XE30)
On the road you get a firmer, more progressive rear pedal and brakes that recover between stops instead of going long and wooden. Because the 4GR-FSE V6 carries its mass over the nose, sharpening the rear axle helps the IS rotate into a corner rather than leaning on the fronts to do all the work. The vaned hollow disc sheds rotating mass at each rear wheel, which the chassis reads as quicker turn-in and slightly lighter steering off-centre, and braided lines firm the pedal by removing OE hose swell. Choose Street for quiet, low-dust daily manners and cold bite, Sport for harder driving and occasional track work, or move up to the Racing compound and the rear end holds its bite through a full track day where the standard pads would already be fading. Painted caliper finishes, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, are included, with a Custom Color and premium options to keep the hardware looking deliberate behind the spokes.
About the Big Brake Kit
The Hollow Rear Brake Kit pairs lightweight two-piece floating rotors with a vaned hollow core, a fixed caliper and a choice of friction material, sized for the rear of the third-generation IS and supplied as a matched pair. The disc construction is the headline: removing material from the rotor lowers unsprung and rotating mass without surrendering the swept area you need to manage heat, and faces are drilled or slotted at the same price. Pad choice spans three compounds, Street for everyday road use and low dust, Sport for harder driving and occasional track work, and Racing for sustained circuit use, so the same hardware suits a daily IS 250 or a committed track build. The fixed caliper clamps more evenly than a sliding factory unit, which shows up as a firmer pedal and more consistent pad wear, and it is a hollow-body forged unit as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade rated to 1000C and warranted two years for hard track use. Calipers come in the no-cost painted colours plus a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished-forged and candy finishes, so the kit can match the car’s colour or stay understated.
Fitment for the Lexus IS 250 (XE30) (2013-2015)
This kit is cut for the XE30-generation Lexus IS 250 built between 2013 and 2015, mounting to the rear hubs of that chassis and supplied as a matched pair. It is a rear-axle kit, so it works as a standalone upgrade or paired with a matching front big brake setup. Confirm your build year falls within the 2013-2015 span before ordering, then set your pad compound, disc style and caliper colour from the options when you order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
