Caliper render for this kit:

The FX35 S51’s genuine party piece is the way its near-two-tonne kerbweight almost disappears through confident body control and a willing VQ35HR V6, but that same mass is precisely what the front brakes are fighting every time you scrub speed from motorway pace. The S51’s rear-biased ATTESA AWD layout concentrates braking load on the front axle under heavy deceleration, and the standard caliper-and-disc package, adequate for most conditions, shows its limits when the pace is consistently high.
This XYZ Racing front big brake kit is built to match what the FX35 S51 can actually do on fast roads. It is a front-axle kit, a matched left and right pair of calipers and two-piece floating discs. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, mean the hardware serves equally well on a daily driver covering the M-roads as on an FX used hard on extended continental runs or occasional driving events. You choose the compound when you order.
What this brake kit does for your 2009-2012 Infiniti FX35 S51
The hollow-vane disc draws heat away from the friction surface more aggressively than a conventional rotor, which matters on a platform where the front brakes absorb the bulk of deceleration energy from nearly two tonnes in motion. The two-piece floating construction lets the iron ring expand against its alloy bell without coning, keeping the disc flat through a hard sequence. Pedal feel becomes more progressive and linear under load, and the vagueness that develops in the standard setup during extended spirited use begins to resolve. Fitting Sport or Racing immediately broadens the operating temperature range, so the front axle is no longer asking for more brake than the pad can deliver once things warm through, with Street the quiet, low-dust default. Included caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, allowing the hardware to sit cleanly behind the FX35 S51’s wide wheel arches rather than disappear into them.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The hollow-vane disc refers to the internal geometry of the disc itself: machined channels that accelerate airflow under rotation, pulling heat out of the friction zone more efficiently than solid or standard-vented alternatives, and you can specify it drilled or slotted at the same price. The caliper is a hollow-body forging as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds come with the kit: Street for everyday mixed use, Sport for drivers who habitually carry higher speeds, and Racing for circuit or driving-event use. Caliper colour extends beyond the painted finishes to premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange, with two-tone or titanium centre bells, all selectable at checkout. The front-only scope directs the upgrade where the S51 FX35 needs it most without disturbing the rear setup; the AWD platform’s braking balance is preserved, and the rear can be addressed separately if required.
Fitment for the Infiniti FX35 S51 (2009-2012)
This brake kit covers the Infiniti FX35 in S51 (second-generation) specification, spanning production years 2009 to 2012. The S51 designation separates this fitment from the earlier S50-generation FX; confirm your chassis code and build year before ordering, as the kit is dimensioned to the S51 platform. Front axle only.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
