Caliper render for this kit:

The Genesis Coupe’s rear-wheel-drive layout put serious load through the front axle under hard braking, particularly with the 3.8-litre V6, where the combination of weight and power meant owners routinely discovered the factory stoppers fading before corners they expected to carry speed through. The XYZ Racing front brake kit addresses that directly, replacing the standard front assembly with a setup calibrated for the BK’s actual dynamic demands.
Three pad compounds mean this kit serves the full spectrum of Genesis BK ownership, from a car that sees spirited road use on weekends to one that turns regular track-day laps in anger. Caliper colour choices let you match the aesthetic to the rest of the build, though the functional gains will be apparent well before anyone gets close enough to see the finish.
What this brake kit does for your 2008-2013 Hyundai GENESIS BK
Brake bite-point consistency matters on the BK’s front MacPherson layout, particularly given the Coupe’s front weight bias, where hard trail-braking into a corner asks more of the front axle than most factory brake packages were engineered for. Two-piece floating discs reduce rotating mass at each corner, which the Genesis BK’s front geometry can exploit: lower rotational inertia means the tyres respond faster when you release the pedal mid-corner, helping the car rotate rather than understeer wide. Three pad compounds let you match thermal demand to actual use: the Street compound carries the quiet, low-dust road-mile burden, while the Sport and Racing grades step up as sessions get more sustained. Caliper colour is set when you order from Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, all included at no extra cost, so the visual outcome is integrated rather than decorative.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The kit is built around two-piece floating discs that reduce rotating mass without sacrificing swept area, a practical balance for a road-registered car that sees circuit work without committing to a full race-specification setup. The caliper is a hollow-body forging as standard, fed by braided lines. The disc construction improves heat dissipation under sustained load, a relevant consideration on a car as substantial as the Genesis Coupe, where repeated hard-braking zones on circuit can push factory fade margins into uncomfortable territory. Pad selection spans three compounds (Street, Sport and Racing), giving the owner an adjustable friction characteristic rather than a fixed one, so the kit can adapt as the car’s use evolves from B-road to track day. For serious track use the optional Hollow Racing caliper deletes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, the centre bell can be upgraded to a two-tone anodized finish in five colours or to titanium, and beyond the included caliper colours you can specify a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) or candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), allowing the completed installation to sit inside an existing build rather than define it.
Fitment for the Hyundai GENESIS BK (2008-2013)
This kit is configured for the front axle of the Hyundai Genesis BK, covering the 2008 to 2013 model years. The BK chassis code encompasses both the 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.8-litre V6 variants of the Genesis Coupe. Confirm your specific variant and preferred caliper colour when you order; both are build-specific selections finalised before despatch.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
